Antico Borgo Petralia

We had the most wonderful experience here! The location could not have been better. Every corner was immaculate and beautifully kept. Breakfast was excellent, and the hosts went above and beyond to look after us. We highly recommend this place and cannot wait to come back.

All was absolutely perfect

We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The setting is beautiful – peaceful and set back from the road, with lovely views towards the sea in the distance. It's perfectly located between the coast and Mount Etna, making it an ideal base if you're planning to visit Etna or explore the surrounding area. A car is essential, as you'll need one to get around. The accommodation is family-run, and the hospitality is exceptional. Pina makes the most delicious homemade cakes for breakfast each morning, and Sara couldn't do enough to help us throughout our stay. Their warmth and kindness made us feel so welcome. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The pool area is lovely too, with plenty of sun loungers and parasols – a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The service was excellent from start to finish. We also really enjoyed the evening meals, with a great selection of delicious food and local wines. You simply choose your dinner at breakfast, which worked really well. A fantastic place to stay in a beautiful part of Sicily. We would love to return.

This is my second stay and I’ve found that the facilities are not only beautifully designed, comfortable and spotless clean but situated in a convenient location on Etna for exploring, hiking and dining in the region. But don’t miss dining on the premises as the food is truly delicious, especially all of the freshly-baked breakfast delicacies homemade by mama! There is a level of peace and serenity there that the family that runs Antico Borgo Petralia only enhances with their genuine Sicilian hospitality. Grazie mille Sara and family!
