Wine Resort Villagrande

Absolutely beautiful place. Great rooms, and a great resort with lots of different places to enjoy the views and wines.

Although we had a great experience overall, charging €3 per bottle of water felt somewhat excessive for a venue of this type. As honest feedback, it would be a nice improvement to offer complimentary water. Other than that, everything was on point!

This is a beautiful quiet romantic little hideaway right on the slopes of Mount Etna. The room was of high quality and very well appointed with some nice little additional touches to make the place and the guests feel special. The staff were excellent and the service throughout first rate. This is the place to go if you want to do something special and restful for two or three nights. Try the tasting menu it is so worth it. You will probably need a car to get there and to venture out to Etna and the surrounding villages but to come back to a secluded pool with stunning views for an afternoon relax is time well spent.

The hotel is located on the Etna park with beautifull views of vineyards and the bay. It's only 4 rooms but very charming with a common area with coffee and water.

The main business is not the hotel but the restaurant. Therefore from 11:30 to 4:00 and from 8:00 to 00:00 there is a lot of noise. If you are planning to read your book on the pool quietly is not the place for you. On the last 2 days we were woken up out of our beds at 8:00 because there were preparations for a wedding. We complained but there was no much the hotel could do for us. They did give us a discount for the trouble.
