Great stay great location for travelling around.

Value for money with sea view. Great pool area and facilities

There is a big hill back from The beach which was okay for us but not for anyone with mobility issues. Could do with mattresses for the sunbeds.

Our stay was perfect, with everything we could require.

The apartments we hired were very clean and very well equipped. The beds were really comfortable and it was delightful to eat on the balcony and watch the sunrise and sunset. The parking was a bonus and our hosts were very kind and welcoming. The swimming pool was large and the area around clean and tidy. The beach was a short walk down the hill and there were shops and restaurants very close by. We were delighted with the location and the apartments and will certainly return.

Relaxing base to explore the area.

Location to the beach, nearby shops, bars, restaurants & bus stop. The pool & pool loungers were great to relax around and never too busy. We also loved having the use of the BBQ. Ante & her husband were very helpful when we needed them. The highlight of the apartment is the sunset sea view you get every night from the balcony.

We would’ve benefited from air con in the bedrooms.

Nice start of our holiday

We arrived at this location, where we got a warm welcome. However my German was a bit rusty, and the English of the hosts were limited we got a good connection, and they were very warm and open. The apartment was nice, modern, and had everything wat was needed. The terrace allowed me to got awake quietly without waking up my family. The pool was very clean and wide, with several seats nearby.

In the booking there was mentioned that there was a laundry machine. However this was solved that our hosts did laundry when required. A little minor for me was that the pool was at the roof, although other people would see this as a benefit with the view. One point you cannot blame the hosts is the facts that in top summer season the road to Split gives traffic jam several times (and also nearby Omis). This is just as a tip.

Everything you need for a self catering stay. Comfy bed, clean apartment and enough cooking utensils to cook up a meal for 2! Angela and Ante are so friendly. It’s their home so it’s really well looked after. There are 2 supermarkets within 5 and 10 minutes away and 2 bakeries close by for delicious bread and sweet treats!

It’s up a steep hill, not for the faint hearted, especially when it’s hot 🥵 Our apartment was on the ground floor, still with a see view but the car park was in front of us. No big deal deal, the view may have been better on the 1st/2nd floor.

Beautiful Family Apartment in an excellent location.

Beautiful apartment located in a very safe and quite location. Beautiful little swimming pool which most days you will have to yourself. Beach is only 2 minutes from the apartment along with supermarket and bars and restaurants. Excellent family location with super host. Satellite tv with netflix app, so bring your home login. Safe secure parking or take the bus which is always on time and only €2 to Split and the bus stop is only 2 minutes from the accommodation. Highly recommend these apartment, oh and a sea view. Also the nearby beaches are beautiful, crystal clear water and shower and toilet facilities too.

So because we were on a ground floor apartment, there was a family with young children above us who woke usually around 6am dragging chairs around. I would recommend to the host to get felt covers for the chairs on the first floor. And of course in infamous hill. Really this is a 1 minute walk, nothing to worry about.

A lovely family holiday

We were met at the property by the host who showed us around and let us know that if we needed anything then we should contact them. It was a lovely comfortable apartment, very clean and in a reasonable good location near supermarkets/restaurants/beaches and only a few minutes walk to bus stop to get to Split and Oms.

Very nice host, Nada made sure to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Appartment was very clean. In the morning we could sit outside having breakfast and enjoying the beautiful sea view.

We had top floor with the most spectacular view. The apartment was absolutely spotlessly clean, could not fault a thing. It felt like home. The owners were so lovely, helpful & kind & always ready to help with anything we needed. They even left us fruit, wine & biscuits, so kind. There is a bakery & couple of small supermarkets very close by, beach just across the road with lovely walks along a pathway.

There is nothing not to like as we loved everything, even the neighbour’s were lovely & friendly.

The 2nd place on our Croatia adventure.

The host was AMAZING! Although we could not communicate well due to a language barrier mime and Google translate worked well! The owner was very upset when we checked out early ☹️ The pool is amazing and the view from the pool area beautiful 😍 the building itself is IMMACULATE so clean and tidy. Like a Michelin star but for cleanliness 🌟 The rooms are big and spacious with wonderful balconies.

On our first day the water wasn't working (no fault of the owners) however we couldn't use the toilet, sink or shower. Looking at previous reviews it says there are buses into Split however there was none available throughout the few days we stayed in Podstrana. Ubers and Bolts wouldn't accept the journey from Podstrana into Split due to the traffic. Many of the bars/restaurants we found on Google Maps do not exist or have closed down in Podstrana. Maybe due to the time of year as we are slightly out of season.

Me and my two kids stayed here for one week. Nice apartment with 3 balconies, one of which is larger with a fantastic view of the city and the sea. The pool area with a sun heated was also really good. Close to beach, restaurants and supermarket/bakery. The host couple were very nice and helpful.

The owners were lovely & very welcoming, they organised their grandson to be there to translate & give us a tour of the property - he was absolutely charming. The pool was great to cool off in with adequate sun-beds for guests. The balcony was really spacious with a sea view & the property had everything we required for self catering.

For some the hill leading up to the property maybe a bit steep & you do have to cross a main road to get to the 'beach' standard concrete slabs & pebbles.

Very last minute booking, appreciate the hosts flexibility, a good value for money. Close to Split, the pool was a nice refreshment.

The host could have been a friendlier. On the day of our departure, we agreed in the morning on the check out time at 11 AM with the host. However, at 9:30 they came back to our room saying we need to be out at 10:00. So we only had 30 minutes to pack everything. When we were leaving, the host didn't even come out to thank us or say goodbye to us. No contact.

Problem with parking place - small parking. Rude reaction of the owner to the lack of a parking space Insufficient amount of paper in the toilet and in the kitchen. Owners speak only German.

the hosting lady was unpleasant and annoying, let u feel like u r not welcome and she cares a lot over the appartment stuff for example while u r laying in the Sun relaxing and reading a book she will come and order u to close the Umbrella and tell u u might pay more money if it got broken from wind, she never puts ur comfortable first. plus she asks too many personal Questions … in short she is not a proffesional Tourist Person.

Very helpful staff. Antonia is a great and kind person. Always happy to help. A host that one can rely on. Definitely a place to come back to. Rooms, toilets, etc. clean. Kitchen complete. You can even drink your fresh bought Plavac Mali from a real wine glass. Great terrace with great view. Swimming pool clean and nice. Highly recommended.

It was excellent, clean, bright and convenient for Split and Omiz

The host was so helpful and friendly even though she didn't speak English! So we had to communicate by mime! The cleanliness was outstanding. The view from our spacious terrace was beautiful - excellent all round.

There is a busy road to cross to reach the beach so that could be a bit dicey at time and also it is a steep climb up to the villa so not for the old or fragile

Es war einer meiner schönsten Unterkünfte in Podstrana

Die Unterkunft hat alle Errwatungen übertroffen .Besonders schön war die Großzügige Pool Landschaft Die Nähe zum Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und der Bäcker in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Gastgeber sind wundervoll und immer bemüht den Aufenthalt noch schöner zu machen. Angelika und Ante sind wunderbar ☺️ Hvala vam još jednom na svemu

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Ante und Angelika in Podstrana sehr genossen! Das Apartment war genauso, wie beschrieben – sauber, gut ausgestattet und mit allem versehen, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Besonders schön fanden wir den herrlichen Meerblick von unserer Terrasse und den mit viel Liebe angelegten Pool. Ante und Angelika waren wunderbare Gastgeber – herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar. Der Strand war in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, und an der kleinen Promenade unten gab es gemütliche Restaurants und Bars, die den Tag perfekt abgerundet haben.

Rauhallinen, Siisti ja sopivan kokoinen huoneisto kahdelle. Hyvät säilytystilat. Näkymä merelle! Uima-allas sopiva ja grillaus mahdollisuus myös siellä. Omistajat olivat huippuja❤️ Lyhyt matka rannalle, jossa oli kiva rantabaari. Bussiyhteys Splitiin lähellä. Kauppa lähellä. Parkkipaikka talon edessä. Suosittelen vahvasti!!

Jättefint lägenhetshotell med fantastisk utsikt. Kommer gärna tillbaka.

Balkongen och utsikten var fantastisk. Fint lägenhetshotell på lugn gata. Jättefin privat poolveranda för hotellets gäster. Perfekt om man är flera vänner eller familjer som åker. Det ser precis ut som på bilderna. Värdinnan Angelica var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Nära till matbutik, stranden, och restauranger (ca 100-200m). Fin strandpromenad. Busshållplats nere vid stora vägen. Vi tog lokalbuss 60 in till Split. Smidigt och enkelt. Kostade 2,5 euro och tog ca 20 min.

Det är stora höjdskillnader mellan stranden och boendet och en brant backe upp. Bra att veta.
