Nice Hotel.

We liked staying at Tenuta La Borriana. The rooms are clean. The infinity swimming pool provides a great relaxation for the kids and they enjoyed it the most there. The location is great, with wine yards surrounding the hotel and great views. Food at the restaurant was good. Breakfast decent. Other food options are about 7-10 mins away. Stay at the hotel will need you to have a car since the location is not near eateries and shops.

Few basic things can be improved or mentioned. First Wifi. They are non existent in one of our room and just ok in the second room(reason given was the stone structure of the walls ). Second was the AC, again in one room they had a AC at a corner so that the master bed was covered but the sofa bed for the kids did not get any cooling and to add to that there was no fan, but the other room had a fan so that it was good. Thirdly the fridge in both rooms did not work. When reported we were told that they will get this repaired. So it was little tough with the heat outside, not a great AC and no fan plus no cold water. Also if you need water you need to go to the restaurant which is a adjacent building and pay for it.

Nicely located and beautiful structure

Attention: this is not an agriturismo, that gives you contact to nature, is quiet and relaxing and great for families! Why? - from 3 nights 2 there were parties with loud music until midnight / 2 o’clock. This seems to be a lucrative side business because we - family with a 10 month old baby - were not told that there were external parties hosted in front of our room - so horrible experience with our baby - the swiming pool is not for the guest only but opened to the public so quite crouded

Great restaurant and pool but otherwise uncomfortable stay, so much so we cut our long weekend short and drove home rath

The property is in a stunning location and has an amazing restaurant on site serving delicious food. Th on-site pool also looks great although we didn’t get to use it due to rain.

The family room we stayed in has absolutely zero sound proofing. We could hear every move our neighbour made and it sounded like we were sleeping in their bathroom. Unfortunately our neighbour liked to flush their toilet a lot in the night and it sounded like it was right next to our heads. Opening and closing of their shower and use of hair dryer all sounded as though they were done right next to our heads. The beds were also incredibly uncomfortable. The single bed in the room is set within a metal frame that made a clanging noise every time my child moved in the night and sloped toward the side he moved to - he actually fell out of bed onto the floor in the night it was that bad. The double bed was equally uncomfortable- I tried sleeping on top of the duvet for some extra padding but even with that it still felt like sleeping on a rock. In addition, the claims of internet at the property are misleading in that it is “wired internet” meaning there is no internet signal you can tap into at all & no plugs (that anyone uses in this century) to plug into, so essentially there is no internet.

the views are amazing and staff was very very nice!

the heat didn’t work in any of our rooms. They did give us a few space heaters but it was still very cold to sleep. Beds are ROCK hard and not comfy pillows. listing said two bedrooms but it was just a bedroom then a pull out couch. lighting was very dim and hard to do makeup. lights kept flickering bc we had the space heaters going. it’s like doing makeup in candlelight. The breakfast was great!

The place is well located on the hills of Tuscany with lovely views from the nice rustic room. The big infinity pool overlooking the valley is lovely. There are some walking/hiking routes from the hotel which allow you to enjoy the area without much driving. Restaurant was OK with good meat dishes and Davide (the waiter) was helpful too. Team was helpful with a late check in, taxi bookings and printing some documents which we really appreciated, BUT...

We were not informed in advance that a wedding will be taking place at the venue during our stay which meant no access to the key amenities: the restaurant and the pool. We found out about the event upon our return from a wine tasting tour when one of the receptionists approached us a few meters from the door saying that we MUST head to our rooms right now and stay there for the next hour. No explanation, apology, food alternatives, taxis or compensation was offered at the time or after this event. As our room was not equipped with a kitchen, we were forced to look for food alternatives at short notice on a Saturday evening which was not possible (with all nearby restaurants already fully booked) and walking to a shop was not possible either as the nearest town was a few kms away. To top it all off, noise from the wedding got worse with a huge and loud firework display around midnight followed by noise from drunk guests going back to their rooms until 3AM (rooms have good thick walls but windows and doors are paper thin). On Friday and Sunday the restaurant held other large parties/events which is not in line with a tranquil agroturismo setting we were expecting. Overall the stay was tainted with feeling unwelcome and noise which considering the price is far from acceptable. This venue should have been privatised for the weddings and not open to bookings which includes booking.com! Even though we did get a refund for the one night after a long negotiation, I would not recommend the stay there.

The location was really stunning and we received good service from staff.

We were not informed about a wedding being held at the premises during our stay which meant that we didn’t have the opportunity to use the swimming pool nor the restaurant. Booking didn’t advice that the restaurant was closed on Mondays. We were looking forward to taste the local produces of the agriturismo, and had no chance to do so during our stay. Knowing all of the above we would have probably picked a different place for our stop over.

An unique, beautiful place where you can relax, spend a sunny day by the pool and have a dinner in the evening. Amazing tipical tuscanian interiors (and exteriors!). Definitely all you can imagine when thinking about your dream holiday in Tuscany! Thanks to the kind staff for having us!

Not a lot to be improved, but an air conditioning would do miracles - even small, mobile coolers. Unfortunately electric fans do not manage to cool the air with 40 degrees outside. Only two glasses in a three bed apartment can also be improved :)

Lovely hosts and staff, amazing view, great infinity pool with loungers beneath olive trees, very tasty own wine and food, great place to relax and unwind, close to Florence and some little nice villages. Lucky enough to got an upgrade to a small apartment with own terrace and kitchenette, perfect place for a getaway. We really loved and enjoyed every minute, even extended our stay :)

Lovely facilities for a good price. Pool is large and pristine with comfortable loungers and great views, visitors come from outside to swim for the day so it can get crowded but hotel guests have priority for pool seating. Owners are fantastic and very friendly. They organized a wine tasting with dinner for 30 euros that we did onsite with Alessandro which was a great evening activity. Rooms come with window screens and fans to help with the heat. We stayed during a week of 34+ temps and it was manageable in the evening. Location is fully in nature, there is a pizzeria within walking distance but a car will be needed to access surrounding area. The facilities are enough that you wouldn’t need to leave the property- we enjoyed the simple lunch and dinner options. Facility has a family feel, like you’re in someone’s home but you don’t feel as if you can’t wander around and have your freedom and space.

Internet was very weak, we needed to telework and it wasn’t powerful enough and consistent enough. Bring bug spray, mosquitos are out and about

Per parlare con qualcuno ho fatto 16 chiamate digitando tutti e 3 i nr. Riscaldamenti spenti il pomeriggio (sono bloccati e gestiti da loro) quando sapevano avessi 2 bimbi e faceva molto freddo. Pulizia della stanza molto approssimativa. Formiche nel bagno (non metto le foto perché è ridicolo), però avere un conto è averne qualcuna vista la posizione in campagna, un conto è trovarne decine spuntare dalla doccia. Clima inesistente, posto freddo.

Perfekte Ruhe Oase für einen individuellen Toskana Urlaub mit dem Auto

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für einen Urlaub in der Toskana. Ruhig und entspannt, kein Lärm und ein perfekter Rückzugsort. Durch das Restaurant ist man unabhängig, es gibt ein täglich wechselndes Menü, toller Staff. Für Ausflüge mit dem Auto ideal gelegen, Pisa und Florenz sind sehr gut zu erreichen. Artimino mit einer tollen Aussicht und genialen, toskanischen Restaurants ist 5min mit dem Auto entfernt. Einfach toll!
