A truly wonderful experience! A beautiful place., very friendly and helpful people. Trum

The location is idyllic. The view is of the rolling Tuscany hills, and the vineyard and olive groves are lovely. There is a very well maintained pool, the accommodations are spacious, very clean, and charming in aspect. The hostess is extremely friendly and very eager to help with any issues at all. When our rental car got a flat, she went well out of her way to get us back on the road. Thank you Elisabetta and Franco! We recommend this place highly.

Cozy Italian charm with the loveliest hostess! Highly recommend!

A perfect cozy retreat with the incredibly kind and hospitable Elisabetta who made us feel so well looked after! The bed was SO comfortable and it had everything we needed for a great stay while we were looking for wedding venues. We plan to come back in a few months.

This is a beautiful location the views are sensational on the working biodynamic olive grove and vineyard. . It is also very central for day trips all over Tuscany. Perfect stay

We enjoyed everything. A beautiful place perfect for us and our dog. Local style of interior design and we didn't even mind the lack of air conditioning. A place perfect for relaxing, swimming in the pool, long walks through the vineyard and olive grove or cycling. A great starting point. One hour by car to Florence, Pisa or the seaside. Two hours to the Val di Orcia area. Despite the full occupancy of the property, it was not crowded. There was a real atmosphere of relaxation. The biggest plus (for which we thank you) was the attitude of the owners. We never felt like we were part of the family on the trip and here we felt it right here. Thank you for that <3 We will be back!

Beautiful charming place with an exceptional host

Staying at Casa Elisabetta was truly a wonderful! The property is very pretty, peaceful with a great view to the garden and surrounding hills, settled among olive trees and vineyards. There is a nice breeze, which must be great in the summer, so it never feels scorching hot! There was everything we needed in the kitchen, beds were comfy, bathroom was good. But the best part (except of the view) was Elisabetta with whom we created a great bond. She was lovely and interested and we had a great time talking to her, she welcomed us with open heart. We also did a wine tasting at their cellars down the road which is very much recommended, Fattoria Castellina has great biodynamic wines and olive oil. I wish we would spend more time really enjoying the property, swimming in the pool or relaxing! Maybe next time :)

The living room was a little noise sensitive, we could hear our neighbours singing, and little dark, because it is an old house. But you can sit outside, which is much nicer anyway! You indeed need to pass some last 5 min on a dirt road, so you have to count with this extra time when plannign trips.

Great stay and super host!

Elisabetta was super nice & helpful. If there is anything you need Elisabetta will do her utmost to help. Parking under cover keeping the sun off vehicles. Apartment was nicely furnished & comfortable although the Kitchen may be a bit rustic for some. Nice area outside the apartments to eat & sunbathe. If using plug adapters you will need type F or L which have the thin pins.

The pool was murky & surrounds was not set-up when we arrived due to early season & rain storms in previous weeks, but during the week it was cleaned & prepared so we had a lovely swim & sunbathe by the pool on the last day. Bear in mind not everything will be set up for the summer/sun season if you go outside May-Sept. This is quite understandable in retrospect.

Excellent!

We liked absolutely everything, it's such a peacefull and welcoming place! Sig.ra Elisabetta is a very kind, caring and special person, she's been very helpfull as a host, and as someone mentioned, she really does everything from the heart. Clean pool, very pleasant room temperature, beautifull nature, wifi all over the place (if you find that important in such a wonderfull place)... we cannot recommend it enough!

Idyllic Tuscan Getaway: Rustic Comfort and Pet-Friendly Charm

The accommodation is situated in a picture book Tuscan place. Up on a lovely hillside amongst the olive trees with a lovely view of the valey. Don't look further if you are looking for a remote place to rest. Remember that it's a driving distance away from shops and restaurants. The nearest shops and restaurants are about a 10-12 min drive away. We brought our dog with us, and I can confirm this is a pet-friendly place. With a huge garden, our dog enjoyed it a lot. The pool isn't over the top, but it's perfect on a hot summer day. The host is super friendly and really goes out of her way to leave you with a good impression. She even surprised our dog with a little treat when we arrived. If you want to have a nice experience in a rustic Italian house on a Tuscan hillside, this place is what you you're looking for.

I can't really complain about anything since we liked it a lot. A word of advice to people who want to come here: - The accommodation is remote, so the road to the house is a gravel road (around 1-1.5 km from the main road) - It's a bit further away from cities and things so if you don't like to always hop in a car to go to the shop and restaurants I won't recommend it.

Nothing really. The view from the hill is OK but nothing special compared to other, much nicer views across Tuscany.

property has been not been properly cleaned in months if not years. Lots of mould, health hazard in my opinion. The apartment was not heated on arrival, took one night to get warm. oNo privacy: you wake up when your upstair neighbour does, and you go to sleep when your neighbour on the right stops watching TV. Old squeaky bed: expect to wake as many times as you or your partner move during the night. We paid for two double beds, one single bed, one sofa bed. Instead we got one double and one sofa bed and a smaller apartment. The host was not there upon arrival (understandable since it was Easter Sunday). We called her when arriving, to which she answered she would come to greet us after festivities ended. We only saw her once, she only came on third day for five minutes to collet the tourist tax. Two gas heaters, both giving away heavy smell of gas. No kitchen towels, one toilet paper for four nights. The toilet/bidet was leaking heavily already upon our arrival. No internet connection, very weak telephone reception.

A gem in Tuscany with a central location for day trips.

A central place to make day trips in Tuscany including Florence, Vinci, Lucca, Pisa etc. (you need a car to access the property and move around). We had a spacious suite with all the necessities. A very peaceful location in the middle of vineyards and olive groves, nice garden with beautiful view to relax, and a pool as a bonus which unfortunately was not opened yet during our stay. The lovely hostess, Elisabetta was extremely hospitable. She organized us a lovely wine and olive oil tasting, and a delicious dinner with authentic Tuscan flavours. We had also a chance to visit the wine cellar and purchase some tasty wines and olive oil. Overall, it was a lovely stay, highly recommended!

The location is very beautifully. Perfect place for SUMMER retreat. If you don’t need Internet and if it is really hot outside, then it might be perfect place to be lost from the world.

Unfortunately very nice hosts seems to be not prepared at all for meeting guests. It started with setting up heating system . And the heaters are very old, the make awful smell of gaz. And you can not sleep properly at all due to bad smell of burning gaz in heaters and also huge noise from them. If you switch off ventilator in heaters, then the place is really cold. It has Old style/antique tilers on the floors And it’s literally on the ground. It looks like converted vine cell, so it might be perfect place for summer, but very cold in Early April. Also WI-FI is extremely bad, doesn’t work, so all our dreams of enjoying beautiful countryside and doing the work were ruined.. wonderful host Elisabetta tried her very best, but it might be good to possibly employ professional who could see the problems and run the place professionally. On top of everything the gaz finished and we ended up with half cooked meal in the late Sunday evening. So cold night, no hot water as a result of gaz being used up by the other guests. Again, Elisabetta tried her best to find solution, brought to my heater , but it has been cold night, no hot water in the morning, no gaz.. Hosts didn’t give receipt saying that I we booked via Booking.com then receipt is give by booking.com which is ok with us, but was also a bit of surprise.. So- Very nice people, but not nice stay.. unfortunately it added us a bit more stress instead of relief.. we Recommend it for hot summer and if you don’t need to use internet.

Genuine Tuscany location. Relaxation at max.

The location was great, in the heart of Tuscany, Ms. Elisabetta is a very kind and caring host, the property domain is huge and is a genuine italian countryside location. The pool is great, the lanscape is awesome! The location is divided in 2 houses with several apartments, everyone with it's own name and style, every apartment has it's own outdoor table and place to spend the evening under the tuscanian sky. The owner has a winery and an olive oil little factory, you can taste and buy some exceptional genuine wines and virgin olive oil produced on their property. We had a free sample of oil and it is the best we've tasted so far. Unfortunately, we had to leave one day earlier because of some personal problems at home and we had no tiome to talk with Ms. Elisabetta for buying some olive oil. I really hope we will return there and stay for a longer period, it's really worth it!!!

Perfekt für Kultur und Erholung.

Elisabetta war sehr hilfsbereit und hat sich um alles gekümmert. Altes Steinhaus in wunderschöner Lage in einem Olivenhain mit einem tollen Ausblick. Sehr großer Pool und große Zimmern. Überdachter Parkplatz, Grillmöglichkeit. Geburtshaus von Leonardo da Vinci und das Dorf Collodi (Pinocchio) ganz in der Nähe. Florenz, Pisa und Lucca von hier sehr gut erreichbar.

Spettacolo in Toscana

Innanzitutto, la signora Elisabetta è stata veramente spettacolare: la migliore host che io abbia mai avuto in tutti questi viaggi. La piscina comodissima e l'abitazione confortevole al massimo, con gazebino e tutte le varie comodità per passare un soggiorno assolutamente nel puro relax.

Se dovessi proprio spaccare il capello in quattro, la pulizia ha lasciato un pochino a desiderare, però mi rendo conto che la signora Elisabetta fa tutto da sola con l'aiuto di sua suocera: non è scontato.

Posto magico

Ho amato ogni cosa, dell'accoglienza di Elisabetta alla bellezza degli appartamenti Medicei. La pace che ti offre l'agriturismo con la sua bellissima piscina, immersa tra ulivi e viti, è indescrivibile. Siamo stati benissimo con il nostro cagnolino e torneremo sicuramente. Consiglierei quest'oasi di pace a chiunque.

Difficile trovare qualcosa che non sia piaciuto, l'unica cosa che mi sento di dire è che la strada per arrivare agli appartamenti è dissestata, ma con calma e godendoti la vista che essa ti offre arrivi tranquillamente.

Preis Leistung perfekt. Man darf aber kein großen Luxus erwarten

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr abgelegen und ist perfekt zum entspannen. Wir fahren sehr froh, dass das Haus ausgebucht war und wir somit nicht alleine dort waren. Sonst hätten wir es gruselig gefunden, da es wirklich sehr um nichts liegt. Die Unterkunft war sauber und Elisabetta äußerst bemüht, dass alles für uns passt.

Der Weg zum Haus ist nicht ganz so schlimm wie es hier in den Bewertungen teilweise beschrieben wird. Wichtig. Man darf auf keinen Fall nach Google Maps fahren… diese Strecke ist eine reine Fuß oder Mountainbike Strecke. Elisabetta schickt einem ein paar Tage vorher einen Standort. Mit diesem findet Google Maps auch eine andere Route die besser ist. Jedoch ist auch diese nicht ganz ohne… mit tiefergelegten Autos etwas schwer befahrbar. Man muss sehr darauf achten, die teilweise sehr tiefen Schlaglöcher zu umfahren. Wir hätten uns unfassbar über kleine Proben vom Olivenöl oder Wein in der Wohnung gefreut. Dadurch hätten wir eventuell auch etwas gekauft. So kam dies irgendwie nicht in Frage. Ansonsten fehlte mir etwas die Professionalität. Es ist ein Hof, der von Elisabetta betrieben wird. Sie kümmert sich um alles und reinigt die Wohnungen. Ein Büro gibt es Vorort nicht… sie regelt alles per WhatsApp mit einem. Das Haus selber ist in einem normalen Zustand. Es ist sauber aber man darf keinen Luxus erwarten. Eine Klimaanlage wäre perfekt… diese fehlt komplett… Ventilatoren bringen im August nicht unbedingt den gewünschten Effekt. Die Liegen am Pool, die Schirme, Pavillons und ein Teil der Stühle im Garten sind in die Jahre gekommen… hier sollte man dringend Geld investieren Alles in allem darf man sich für den Preis aber wirklich nicht beschweren. Es war unfassbar günstig. Natürlich muss man auch bedenken, dass es wirklich abgelegen liegt und man nach Florenz rein auch 1 Stunde benötigt… wirklich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man nur mit einer Stunde Fahrt erreichen

Beliggenheden var fantastisk smuk og fredelig, og værten meget venlig. Bygningen var meget autentisk og charmerende. Dejlig stor have uden så mange regler. Lækkert pool-område.

Servicen var ikke ren efter tidligere gæster. Meget lavt tryk på vandet (vi boede på 1. sal). Gaslugt foran hoveddøren, som trængte ind i lejligheden. 10 lejligheder, hvor nogle lod deres hunde løbe løs i haven.

Toscaans sfeervol gevoel, prachtig land en omgeving. De kleuren zijn stijlvol. Heerlijk gehad!

Erg mooie omgeving, zwembad en omgeving is erg mooi. Zwembad is erg netjes en daarom heen ook.Wat een lieve en leuke vrouw is Elisabetha, zorgvuldig en werkt erg hard! Ze geeft je een welkom gevoel. Echt fijn! Ik zou ze graag een hoger cijfer geven, maar de schoonmaak kan wel beter. Zij doet dit nog zelf, respect! Maar misschien tijd om dit uit te besteden?

Het is niet zo schoon. Op het eerste oog wel. Ik weet dat ze hun best doen, maar helaas rook het in de keuken kastjes naar schimmel. De douche wordt niet grondig schoongemaakt. Dit zie je aan de aanslag op de tegels en naden en het matje dat in de douche ligt. Als dit beter zou zijn, geef ik de accommodatie een 9+.

Dit zou een aantrekkelijker locatie kunnen zijn, mits eerst een grondige onderhoudsbeurt!

Gelukkig kwam de gastvrouw van Casa Elisabetta ons ophalen en ons de weg naar de Casa voor rijden. De oprijbaan is een grove kasseibaan, en onze huurauto zag af, maar heeft het gehaald! Zij is een hartelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw, en doet haar best om het de gasten naar hun zin te maken. Zo bv gaf zij ons bij het toe komen een adres waar zeer lekkere pizza bereid werd, en reserveerde onmiddellijk een tafel voor ons. De Casa zelf bevat verschillende appartementen, maar er is onderling weinig hinder. Het appartement is ruim, en biedt voldoende om er een aantal dagen te verblijven. De tuin is eveneens vrij groot, en elke locatie heeft een eigen tafel buiten om bv te ontbijten. In de kitchenette is voldoende voorzien om een beperkte maaltijd klaar te maken. Er is een prachtig uitzicht, dat wel meer tot zijn recht zou kunnen komen bij meer zorg, en de natuur is er wel echt aanwezig. Er wordt gestreefd om met biologische, duurzame normen om te gaan. Er is een goede verhouding tussen prijs en kwaliteit.

Het geheel heeft, naar ons gevoel, een grondige onderhoudsbeurt nodig om alles opnieuw aantrekkelijker te maken. Deze locatie lijkt heel wat mogelijkheden te hebben, maar het is alsof er te weinig zorg is, waardoor alle opportuniteiten minder tot hun recht komen. Zo is de tuin groot en ruim, en is het zwembad wel aanwezig, maar het nodigt, door de manier waarop alles gepresenteerd wordt, niet direct uit tot beleving in de tuin of een zwembeurt. Op de weg zou een betere en duidelijker aanduiding naar de Casa moeten zijn, want in het pikdonker is de afslag moeilijk te vinden.

Risvegliarsi con una vista del genere è veramente stupendo

Il paesaggio, la vista, il verde intorno! E poi l’host, molto carina e gentile! Sempre disponibile per qualsiasi problem! Si respira pace e tranquillità, casa e gentilezza! Il prato fuori con la piscina, specialmente in giornate soleggiate è impagabile!

Pelo nell’uovo: per il prezzo che si paga di solito (io ho acquistato la casa con uno sconto quindi ci stava) la casa ha alcuni piatti e padelle sporche, bagno non completamente pulito. Ma nel complesso è una bella casa, grande, soleggiata, tenuta bene, rustica😍

Mooie plek in de Toscaanse heuvels. Heel aardige en betrokken gastvrouw. Goed bereikbaar, spreekt prima Engels. Bood spontaan een wijn- en olijfolie-proeverij aan. Kortom, prima verblijf met een prachtige tuin met olijfbomen

De toegangsweg is de laatste paar honderd meter onverhard. Lastig rijden. Verder was ons appartement (nummer 5) redelijk gehorig door de plavuizen vloeren van de bovenburen en de houten tussendeur met de buren.
