I had a pleasant stay at Rim Pai Cottage. The property has a slightly rustic charm, which I felt suited the laid-back atmosphere of Pai. Location-wise, it is very convenient—only about a 5-minute walk from the bus station, making it easy to get around without having to arrange additional transport.
I had originally booked a stay of 6 days and 5 nights. However, as the cottage is located beside the Pai River and there had been heavy rain and flood warnings during my visit, I decided to cut my trip short as a precaution.
I really appreciated how understanding and accommodating the manager was despite my last-minute change of plans. The manager agreed to arrange a refund for the two nights that I would no longer be staying, which I was very grateful for.
I was also impressed by the attentiveness of the staff during the period of heavy overnight rain. They were around to check on the situation and ensure that guests were safe and not adversely affected.
Overall, despite having to leave earlier than planned due to the weather conditions, I came away with a positive impression of Rim Pai Cottage. The convenient location, rustic riverside setting and, most importantly, the helpful and accommodating staff made the experience a pleasant one.

We’ve had a wonderful stay at Rim Pai Cottage. Staff was very friendly, helpful and flexible. Nice view at the river and mountains. Although some loud music until midnight, you’re super close to the Main Street with many shops and food stands. After midnight complete silence where you only hear the river which was very nice. Rooms were clean, bathroom and bed were okay. Our rooms were cleaned every day including clean towels. Extended our stay with 2 extra nights.

Those lovely cabins are very well located, at the center of Pai which is very nice to walk everywhere. The resort itself is nice, very green and the pool is amazing

the room itself was nice but the facilities were a problem. For a high end room, there was a cheap plastic kettle that we would not want to use.
About the location: not really the fault of the hotel, but pai central is not a great vibe.
This place could be cool again if more alternative and wellness culture were promoted instead of the lame frat party vibes. Noisy bad music can be heard till late.
