Very comfy bed and separate sitting room.

Had a fridge, very handy in the hot weather!
Stairs- on the second floor.
Having to negotiate the stairs to use the bathroom in the night.
No sink or water on the second floor.

The privacy of my own bedroom and lounge area with Self catering facilities, including combined microwave/convection oven and fridge - a mini flat to myself.
Normally prefer to have own bathroom but sharing wasn’t a problem over the two days

Lorraine was very welcoming and made me feel at home straight away. Clean, comfortable accommodation. Close to town centre, bus and train station.
Kitchen roll by the kettle/toaster/microwave would be helpful. There was a selection of items for continental breakfast but I would have liked a banana, yoghurt and marmalade added.

It was conventiently located for my NHS appointment. There was parking right outside. I had the whole top floor to myself. The furnishings were comfortable. The bar fridge and shelf were stocked with essentials. My host was very kind to wash and return my nighty which I forgot under my pillow.
I never got to meet the host. It needed fresh air on entering. The toilet was broken and had to be filled by hand in order to flush and was one floor down accessible by a very narrow staircase. I booked out 2 days early because of the inconvenience of using the ablutions and recouped from my procedures at home, instead. The fruit provided for the breakfast was old and unedible.
