The neighbourhood seemed safe & quiet & was only about 10 mins walk from the railway station, 15 mins walk to the bus station & 20 mins to the heart of town. Macey the dog was a little noisy on my return each evening but belly rubs soon calmed her down.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Welcoming host in Lorraine & her cuddly canine companion was adorable. Location is a ten minute walk into town, so great for me working centrally. Bedroom, lounge & shared bathroom all exceptionally clean & certainly comfortable during my total of eight nights. TV & wi-fi reception is very good. On street parking was never an issue. More than adequate supply of cereals, milk, bread for toast, butter, jam, coffee, tea & fruit for breakfast. All in all a great find.
As an advisory, the rooms being on the second floor, with a shared bathroom on the first floor, there will be lots of quite steep stairs, being a Victorian terrace. I’m 64, physically quite fit, working on my feet doing long shifts all day. I was ok, but if you are at all challenged with your mobility, the stairs could be an issue.

Ideally positioned for easy walking to the railway station and Banbury town centre. I had booked two nights for music events at The Mill Arts Centre and to walk the canal path to Cropredy. I was so pleased with my lovely comfortable room and adjacent lounge & dining area, with TV and everything at hand including a fridge, microwave and toaster, to prepare a continental breakfast. Thankyou to host Lorraine and her friendly dog for a lovely warm welcome!
