The hotel, with free parking, was ideally placed for walking around the town. The staff were very helpful. We had room 18, which was very comfortable & had tea & coffee making facilities and everything we needed for a very relaxing stay.
Apart from the hotel there are excellent restaurants, Thai Orchid opposite and The Church House restaurant which is only 2 minutes walk away. The CAMRA pub, The White Horse is also opposite the hotel.. We would definitely stay at the Cromwell Lodge Hotel again..

For an old traditional hotel, it was a very pleasant experience. Hotel staff is very helpful and accommodating. Nice bar with nice relaxing outdoor area. Very convenient to Banbury City Centre.
Would definitely stay here again.

A little dated, but clean rooms and very friendly staff. Was only going to stay 3 days, but extended my stay for 6 days because of the friendly atmosphere of all staff, plus free onsite parking, nice bar and dining facilities.
