This accomodation had a very nice, peaceful ambience, which was much more unique and pleasant than hotel chains within a similar price range. The room was tastefully decorated with wooden furniture and a modern bathroom; we also really liked the traditional window panels that gave the room character. It was interesting to stay at a typical narrow portuguese house and see the building from the inside. The garden was especially lovely, and the hostess was also friendly and ready to help. The city center is about a 25 minute ride away (we used Uber for getting downtown and back, but there is also a bus stop a few steps away), so it is perfectly suitable for a few days of sightseeing.
Breakfast was plenty (several types of prepackaged, sweet pastries; fresh rolls and bread, ham and cheese, yoghurt, different cereals and some fruit), but maybe a bit more variety (e.g. some vegetables, or eggs) would be appreciated by people who stay for several days in a row. Otherwise, eating breakfast in the sunny garden was a nice experience.

Lovely hostel, right next to a supermarket and many bus stops to easily reach the center of Porto. The staff are lovely and attentive, preparing breakfast and someone is always around to assist if you have any questions. I stayed in the dorm room and found it very comfortable, with curtains for privacy, as well as individual lights and power sockets for each bed. Beautiful shared bathroom and shower, all exceptionally clean.
10/10 recommend, lovely location, great value for money, good breakfast. Comfortable, clean, and I felt very safe as a solo lady traveller.
