In one word – perfect. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the host, Nathalie, who speaks English. She showed us everything, explained how things worked, and gave us great recommendations for places to visit in the area.
The location is ideal for exploring the most famous castles of the Loire Valley. The house is situated on the edge of a small town, and despite being near a road, we never heard any noise – it was absolutely peaceful.
The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Everything – the space, the equipment, and the interior – was new, modern, and impeccably clean. On the ground floor, there’s a bedroom with a private bathroom (which we didn’t use), and a living room with a fully equipped kitchen. After many years of travel, this was the first place where the kitchen knives were actually sharp – such a small detail, but so appreciated!
Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious bedroom with a large elevated and very comfortable bed, along with a huge bathroom. Each room is air-conditioned, although we didn’t need it thanks to the milder summer weather.
We also had the entire beautifully maintained garden and a large heated pool just for ourselves. With the weather being a bit cooler, the heated water was a wonderful bonus.
This place was truly exceptional. If you’re looking for comfort, peace, and privacy, it’s the perfect choice. We’d love to come back someday.

Très beau gîte tranquille de qualité supérieure avec une piscine creusée et chauffée dans un décor enchanteur. L’emplacement est très bien situé pour visiter les alentours. Nathalie est une hôte discrète et très proactive.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable property with good sized pool and with lovely owners who were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The refurbishment of the property and fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard and everything was included. It's situated in a quiet location on the edge of a village within walking distance of a good boulangerie and with easy access to numerous historic sites and places of interest.
Absolutely nothing! We loved the house and gardens and the location of the property. There is nothing that we can think of that could be improved. The only problem was having to leave.
