great corner room with extra space and a small mini fridge. Nice breakfast part of a bigger hotel. Don't miss the marina museum nearby.

this is just in general in Denmark and some other European hotels I am spoiled. I like a lot of towels and I don't like the showers where the water goes all over the floor.

Everything was as expected.

We drove from Frankfurt directly to this place and the best part to start with is the parking facility just next to the hotel. The next day we had to take the ferry to Aeroskobing and it was super duper easy as the ferries started from this point. The location was great and the breakfast was very nice indeed.

The rooms were located along the long balcony one after the other and we didn't like that much. The rooms were poorly lit and to us that was another negative point.

The position in Svendborg was very good. The receptionist was very helpful and positive, even after we had complained about several different matters.

We were in the annex, across the road. The bathroom left a lot to be desired, with water covering the entire floor if one used the shower, which made it dangerous.

I swear I had read the hotel had air conditioning but like most of Scandinavia it did not. We visited during a heat wave and were given one fan when I inquired for our two rooms. We had to keep our windows open (luckily they were old windows that opened wide). However this meant were dealt with lots of noise. Svendborg itself is a fairly forgetabble town and everything seemed to shut down here by 8 or 9 pm. Yet late in the evening we heard noise coming from rowdy teens on the streets, people in a nearby bar that was closed(?) and people cleaning the restuarnat below our room until midnight. None of that is anything the hotel can control though. The hotel has rooms above their own restuatant and then on the upper floor across the street above another restaurant. The halls smell musty as do the rooms. The entire facility could benefit from some modern upgrades and freshening up. We did not like that the bathroom had no shower stall just a furtain and a drain on the floor. This made a mess but we found this design at other Scandinavian hotels too. The breakfast was the highlight here and we ate outside on the patio. We stayed just one night so we could take a day trip to Aero. I assume that is why most people stay here. I can't imagine what else would bring someone to visit this town. The hotel is an excellent location for those venturing on a ferry to other islands like Aero.

Musty odor. Beds uncomfortable. No AC which meant windows needed to stay open and there was a fair amount of outside noise late at night.

the rooms have really old decorations. dusty drapes and no sheers on the window for privacy.

The staff were really friendly. the gentleman on the reception was very helpful and nothing was too much of a problem. Beautiful court yard. Breakfast was exceptional so much choice. Will definitely stay again. So close to the station and the ferry. Wonderful. TAK
