Hotel Firststay Myeongdong

The location is great, and the all my interactions with the staff were nice. They were very kind and willing to help. The room had everything I needed after I long day of activities: a comfortable bed, clean and good toilet, shower, utensils, etc. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there, and I think it is a good value for money.

I do not think that there is anything the hotel can do about it, but it is important to mention a few things for people considering staying there. Firstly, the entrance of the hotel is in a very narrow street, kind of dirt, and not looking very nice. At least during the day, it seemed safe, but I as I returned early to the room, I am not sure how it would feel/look at night. Secondly, the room I stayed had no windows, but there are air circulation ducts. I had no problem with that, but some people might. Finally, the refrigerator and the air conditioner together in the room make the room quite noisy at night. I tried to turn off or reduce the wind speed of the air conditioner to reduce noise, but then the room got quite hot. The hotel provides earplugs, which helps. Still, if you are sensitive to noise, it might be a problem. With all that said, I honestly believe that if you just need a place to sleep after a day of activities in the city, it is a nice option considering cost, location, staff kindness, facilities provided, etc.

The hotel was very clean. Facilities provided were excellent. Great location. Dustin at the front desk was great, he even gave us a parting gift. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
