The hotel is in a really beautiful and peaceful location, with lovely surroundings that make it feel very relaxing. We were lucky with the weather and really enjoyed the sun loungers outside, as well as having drinks at the outdoor tables by the bar. The setting is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points.
The main disappointment was the restaurant. The food was very average, the service was nothing special, and the prices felt far too high for the quality. The spa was also quite underwhelming - the jacuzzi water was actually cold, which was particularly disappointing, and overall the facilities didn’t feel as good as expected for a spa hotel. The gym was fairly basic too.

The hotel is in beautiful setting, picturesque, surrounded by woods and very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful.
My room was clean, very nicely decorated and bed was very comfortable with enough pillows
The pathway to my room needed work. A full English breakfast was overpriced £18 for 1 egg, 1 sausage, 1 piece of bacon an eggcup amount of baked beans. 1 tiny hash brown and a few mushroom and the wait was very long.

Location fantastic beautiful building friendly staff
Room was very cold. Too much artificial fragrance/ scent used inside bedroom perhaps used to clean or laundry but smell was overwhelming
Could do with re paint and carpet cleaning
