Characterful pub with rooms in a pleasant location. Easy parking across the road. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent evening meal. Good breakfast. Nice en suite shower (though towel rail couldn't be turned on and then came on later in the night for some reason).
Fire doors quite a noise outside my room when left to close by themselves. Noise from plumbing in rooms above. Woken at 5am - why do people get up so early!? However, I am a light sleeper!

Really appreciated the Aircon due to the heat wave, the staff were really friendly and the steak was one of the best I had eaten. Breakfast was lovely and there was everything you needed.
Room was clean and tidy but a little tired and could do with a little repaint as quite marked.

Staff were super friendly. A lovely pub and food was good.
The bed was very uncomfortable. The room was basic, had a bit of a stale smell and the view from the window was a brick wall.
