The location was perfect with a long path leaving down to the sea. The hotel decor is seriously old fashioned with carpeted lifts and over stuffed furniture everywhere which somehow added to the ambiance and charm of the place. Staff were very friendly too . Wonderful meal in the evening and a bar area where a lighter meal could be had.
Not keen on the captive little birds in the reception area though sweet to see them chirping away .. that’s a personal thing otherwise all

Not enough variety of vegetables
Milk occasionally 'long life' rather than fresh
Didn't realise that we always had to reserve a table for dinner
