Location of the hotel was stunning. very peaceful. The staff were accommodating, cheerful and just so helpful. The beds were comfortable, the view exceptional and the gin and tonics, whilst pricey, was a treat!
The sauna was too small and the steam room was also a bit small. There is only room for two in the sauna - and about four in the steam room. So we didn't use them because it meant sitting around waiting for them to become vacant.
My husband had a meal he enjoyed. I didn't enjoy mine, sweet brioche with crab? Very dry and flavourless and disappointing. My main course wasn't much better.

Beautiful old building, situation, gardens, fab coastal views and walks, some staff helpful, mixed staff expertise and knowledge.
Recommendations- upgrade your room there is a huge difference, include breakfast in your booking as it is not available anywhere else in area, you need a car from the outset, tricky to rent once you’re there.
