This review is from me and my partner. Everything fab room, very clean, great location, the two ladies who run it are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. The best breakfast and evening meal we have ever eaten. And they looked so well after our dog.

The location was perfect for a stay in North Yorkshire and the staff were lovely throughout. Breakfast was fantastic although service was quite slow despite there not being many customers.
The price was massively bumped up due to it being Valentine’s Day which was to be expected but felt let down that this is rated a 5 star hotel but honestly, I’ve been in nicer 3 stars. We were placed into a room directly underneath a staircase to the main hotel lobby which was extremely loud from people’s movement throughout the day, furthermore, this staircase was directly above where the bed was positioned which made matters increasingly annoying. The room was also freezing cold and it took a long time for it to heat up as the radiator wasn’t fully working. The shower was packed with limescale so only worked partly. Ultimately, this cost £200 which is expected for a 5 star on Valentine’s Day but did not feel I got value for money whatsoever.
