Do not book this hotel, it is a scam, it is closed down.

This hotel is a scam, they took our booking and asked for payment. When we arrived, the hotel was closed and was being refurbished. We had to find alternative accommodation last minute. Despite being closed they tried to take payment the next day. The phone number for the manager at the hotel was answered by a very rude lady who then put the phone down . We tried to ring again but the phone was not answered. The emergency phone phone on the hotel door was an unavailable number.

Good place for transit overnight

The location was really remarkable. The linen was good clean.

The stuff didn't speak any language except of French. Was really difficult to communicate. The carpets in entire hotel are very old and look dirty.

The noisy people in the next room, this was not the Brit hotels fault, it's the first time I've ever been disturbed there , they were loud in the room and even knocked on our door gone midnight to ask if we had spare duvets because they were cold ! The hotel was not cold nor was it to hot it was extremely comfortable

Staff friendly, breakfast good, no lift, small and dayed (and a bit grubby) room. It was fine but won’t bother again.

Location on our route heading to Spain.

No restaurant for evening meal and nowhere close by. Some of the suggested eateries in the town were no longer businesses.

Our stop in France

The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The place was spotlessly clean, could just do with a bit of updating.

Room was a bit pokey. Lighting in the bathroom was inadequate. Only one set of towels for two people. Looked like it could do with some refurbishment. Paid the same money for a Premier Inn the night before which was so much better all round.

Locarion good, staff helpful and friendly

Accomodation tired and scruffy, bed against wall on one side, hard to tell if cleaning poor or just in need of redecorating. No gluten free option for bread or cereal at breakfast.

The short notice booking was efficient. The young lady who seemed to do everything was totally on the ball. The breakfast was classic continental and from 6.30 to 9.30 and the best thing was Thatthe hotel was only 2km from the main road and clearly signed. An essential hotel in a great location. Thanks to the staff.

it was clean, and shower had hot water, at least.

- discrimatory wifi setup, did not work with my device - only robot checkin after hours, no cash option forcing to leave extra electronic trace, only phone support if something wrong so if your phone doesnt work in france you're out of luck - paper-thin walls and crazy noisy piping. right by main road = noisy even with window closed - not much of a view even if so claimed

They could not identify our reservation

The location was close to the road with easy access.

The bedroom and the reservation process. I made a reservation for the family, we are 4 ( two adults and two children) and the option given by the Booking app, was to book two bedrooms. One for the adults and another one for the children. 1. Upon arrival, we checked our reservation at the hotel, and we only had one available room, with two single beds for 4 people. 2. The consequence of that, was that we didn't get a good sleep. Since the beds were far too narrow for four People. 3. We expect to pay only, for the bedroom that was available and used and not to be charged for a room that although was booked we did not got access to it. We engage with the people at the hotel and they confirmed that we would only be charged for, one room.

Neglected hotel

The hotel is very well located near the highway. Only 2 km. Saint-Flour is a very picturesque village, so to eat out you have a nice opportunity to look around. The breakfast was good, with fresh croissant.

We arrived at 18.00 in the afternoon, but there was no staff. You were 'received' by a machine. You had to pay to the machine and the machine gave you the room card. You had to find out yourself where the room was. There was no light in the corridor. Pitch dark. The room was very basic. No any plugs near the bed to charge your telephone. The bed was too small. Only one very uncanny bulb as the main light in the room. A neglected hotel.

Friendly lady at the reception. Good parking space, quiet hotel in a nice town.

Did not have the feeling room was cleaned... Matras on the bed was to hard!
