Check-in late, very confortable

I DO NOT RECOMMEND! We booked two rooms for four people. In one room, we used the electric kettle provided by the hotel. It caused a short circuit, and all the electricity in the room went off. The room could not be used at all. There was no one at reception. There was no phone in the room, and reception closes at 10 PM. We used the intercom, but no one could help us. We had to stay the night in our friends’ room. A staff member agreed to refund the first night. The next day the electricity was fixed. After we left the hotel to visit the city, the person who identified himself as the hotel manager, D. Lopez, called us. He spoke in an angry and aggressive way because of our Google review. He threatened to throw us and our belongings out! When we returned to the hotel, our key cards were blocked. We had to call the police. With the police present, the hotel unlocked our room and again agreed to the refund. But in the meantime we didn't have access to our stuff including my pregnant friend's medicine! The next day, the hotel did not process the refund and denied everything. Booking.com later confirmed that no refund request was ever sent. Another serious issue: after we posted our review, the manager replied publicly saying that we never stayed at the hotel, even though we were still staying there! When reading other negative reviews, we saw similar replies denying guests’ stays, which gives a very bad impression. Other problems: Rooms were old Mold in the bathroom Broken mirror No phone in the room Breakfast was incomplete This hotel is listed as 4-star, but it does not meet that standard. We have video and audio evidence of all the things that happened, and the police were involved. Very stressful and disappointing experience. Also Serious health and security risk.

Everyone knows that staying in Switzerland is anything but cheap, and this seems to be the solution to the problem, and it certainly is if you're arriving by car. Parking is free, you can walk to the train station in about 15 minutes, and the incredibly frequent train to Zurich's main station takes another 15 minutes. There are also some supermarkets nearby. Hotel Conti has spacious rooms that could use some updating, which perhaps explains why they don't seem spotless, but overall it's fine. The web app system for nighttime access to the hotel and your room is very modern, so there's very little staff assistance, but it works! The breakfast buffet is good, offering a wide variety of sweet and savory options. Another nice touch is the free hot and cold drinks when available, and definitely bottled water! We were completely satisfied, and it was incredible for Switzerland.

It would be helpful to install soap on the wall in the showers and bathrooms.

I was a bit scared with the other evaluations, but it was really great. Of course not high luxury, but clean and functional with good breakfast

Internet in room 122 wasn't good.

I was not a fan of the check in process all by phone to open main door and room. No reception.
