A pearl on the Deutsche Weinstrasse!

A very nice hotel with a fantastic surrounding. The Kurpark is very nice and gives a soothing feeling. Walking distance to the major sites, e.g. the great wine barrel. Very calm in the evening, free parking just in front of the hotel. Great breakfast and very helpful staff.

The pool could have been a bit larger and the saunas (many different ones) could have been turned on. Great relaxing area in all.

Fantastic location in the Kurpark itself.... right in the middle of this lovely town. Good breakfast, Large room, though ours did not have much of a view. Friendly and accomodating staff.

After having stayed at this hotel many times we had expected a better room . According to desk manager it was according to our booking. During check in , our room was not cleaned and availale at that Other guests got a room without question.

Lovely stay

The hotel was well situated for the Christmas markets / restaurant/ shops that where within metres on the door. The house keeping lady that came to our room was lovely, tried really hard to talk to us with very limited English.

I paid through booking.com for breakfast @ £15PP including children. Breakfast direct with hotel is only £7.50 for children. Book when you arrive.

Very comfortable hotel in a great location with excellent, friendly staff and a good kitchen.

Upon our arrival, the front office staff were both helpful and friendly. The location is excellent and the accommodation, in our case a Comfort Double in House 2 with no balcony but a really pleasant view to the east, was really comfortable and all we needed for our short summer stay. The hotel has a good kitchen with excellent wait staff; buffet breakfast was really very good. Parking (at a reasonable 7€ per day) is onsite and well facilitated by reception staff.

Nothing to really gripe about, although the small unsupervised spa facility is a bit ‘half baked’. It is kept very clean and has a small indoor ‘plunge’ pool … not for swimming. Unfortunately, it was too warm, therefore not refreshing. Good saunas but no steam room (Dampfraum). Good space for relaxation if not too many people there; but not a facility for the ‘serious sauna set’!
