This hotel was very clean and well suited for our stay while attending the Wurst Festival at Bad Durkheim.

Cozy-quaint German hotel
Great location. Really quaint German hotel. Wolfram Klein is a one-man show: Desk clerk, cashier, cook, waiter, etc. Safe and decent quality.
No wifi. Only cold water in shower. Only one old key to open/unlock rooms and doors.

Convenient, comfortable, but additional charges made it way too pricey.
Comfortable place and easy to find
Wasn’t expecting the price to go up as high as it did. It was advertised for €102 but ended up paying €185. I understand the charges for breakfast, but the difference was a bit much and I wouldn’t have chosen this hotel had I known I’d pay €80 more than what was advertised!

Charming and peaceful with a balcony overlooking the vineyards
Balcony with beautiful and peaceful view of the vineyards from the room, secluded location just around the corner from a great winery and across the street from a superb restaurant
Everything is a little old and creaky (but still clean and charming), breakfast was only OK, secluded location is both a positive and negative

Im Bettelhaus werden wir nie wieder buchen.
Wir hatten ursprünglich für 2 Übernachtungen reserviert. Aus privaten Gründen mussten wir unsere Buchung um 1 Nacht reduzieren. Deshalb setzten wir uns mit dem Hotelinhaber telefonisch in Verbindung. Er riet uns, die Buchung vom 31.08.2025 bei Booking.com zu stornieren und ihm unsere Stornierung per E-Mail mitzuteilen. Das haben wir gemacht. Als wir im Bettelhaus angekommen sind, behauptete der Hotelinhaber, dass wir ihn nicht informiert hätten und wir mussten beide Übernachtungen bezahlen. Gott sei Dank hatten wir kein Frühstück gebucht, sonst hätten wir das auch noch für beide Tage bezahlt.
