Great location in the Villa district.

Service was unimpressive. There is no lift and no one offered to help carry our heavy bags up steep stairs to the second floor….if my partner had been on her own she would have struggled to reach the room. The receptionist seemed uninterested and there was no warmth in the welcome. Maybe this coloured our impression of the hotel. Calling an establishment “boutique” suggests it’s something special - whereas the hotel felt dated and average. The room had no fan or air conditioning. Thank goodness it was only 22 degrees outside - I’d avoid staying here in the summer. Because the room was quite hot I opened the bathroom window to find the view obscured by huge cobwebs. Clearly the cleaning isn’t anything special either.

A lovely stay at a beautiful villa!

Beautiful villa! We loved the interior, tall ceiling, very nice lounge area and great breakfast! The lady at the reception was so lovely and helpful.

no elevator and the keychain attached to the room key. We took out the heavy chunky keychain so we didn't have to carry it around.

Gorgeous boutique hotel perfect for visiting Bonn

Beautifully styled boutique hotel, with lovely rooms and extremely comfortable beds. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice and attentive service. There is a peaceful and pretty garden at the back with plenty of places to rest your weary feet after a long day exploring. Excellent location for visiting Bonn with good bus and U-Bahn services close by and just a short walk took us down to the Rhein. A lovely place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay altogether. The staff made us welcome. There was a feel-good factor which was refreshing.

A nice villa to stay at on our travels through germany

The hotel was situated in a lovely quiet area. There was parking on the drive in front of the hotel which was very useful, but you could have found room on the road to be honest. Rooms are a very good size and the bed was comfy. The reception was most helpful, have forgotten her name, but very good front of house.the breakfast was ok,adequate for a continental. A few good restaurants scattered about close at hand

If I have to see it was the glass sliding door to the bathroom . If it didn’t shut or slide very well and when it did it was noisy, especially in the night if you needed the loo😱

Location. It was very far from the centre of the city. Staff. After 5:30 Pm no more staff, just like in a bed and breakfast. Not like in a proper hotel. Room too small. Too expensive for what it offers.

We enjoyed our stay

The room we stayed in was very clean with nice decor. The pillows and the bed were comfortable so I had a good night sleep. The hotel is in a beautiful neighborhood. We had a great morning walk from the hotel to the nearby town center. Breakfast was decent with good selections of general breakfast food, like bread, cheese, cured meet and yogurt.

Cozy.

Ginette made me remember when I traveled before smartphones was a thing. She invited us to have coffee with her and with a map on hands she started to explain the city, distances, points of interest, etc. She was PERFECT! She’s lovely and very welcoming. I wish we could stay long to have more time in the city and also to enjoy her company at her B&B. Breakfast was amazing.

The breakfast buffet was good.

The room is very small, we also didn’t have WIFI, because there was some repair work going on. The insulation is bad so we could hear all the traffic from the street. The reception lady was nice but it turned out she didn’t offer us the guest card for the town at all.

Nice house with some hidden pitfalls which the staff was not ready to compensate us for

The ground floor had some nice common spaces which were good for working. The internet was quite stable and the breakfast was fine.

We didn't like the fact that there was a noisy working site right in front of our window which we have not been informed about before. Also the house itself was surrounded by a scaffolding which took away some of the charming atmosphere! When we informed the staff about this, they said that they would not like to be transparent about it (as to not discourage guests). The room was quite small and the booking process misleading: If you book a double room, you need to be aware that there is a difference whether you book it for one or two people (whilst there is also the option for booking a single room). The beds in the double room were single beds while the single room would have one Queensize bed. So, not advantageous for single travellers (and also quite different from the picture where it looks like it would be one big bed)! We were very disappointed that even though these problems were known, there was not any effort from the staff to meet us midway eg. by adjusting the price (on the contrary we were asked to pay extra for the second person staying in the double room as of the misunderstanding described above). All in all not the most enjoyable stay and would choose a different location the next time.

Pleasantly surprised - definitely worth a stay

excellent value for money - room was good size, well appointed and has a nice light bright feel. Good choice of breakfast and hotel was in a quiet part of town near Rhine.
