Fun and adventurous for all ages!

Great location and perfect for families traveling with small children. Super friendly staff and beautiful views from the outside terrace on a warm summer night. I can also imagine this being the perfect hotel when you’re there for hiking - unfortunately we only spent one night on our way home after our summer holiday elsewhere. Breakfast was extensive and good and having the playroom and other children’s corners made all the difference for us. All in all it felt like a little adventure for us and our 2-year old :)

It was very warm in the room. Understandable because of the hot weather in general and the explanation why there is no airco because of the protected status of the buildings, but making an effort to cool the rooms as much as possible before arrival would be an improvement we would welcome. The curtains were open when we arrived, and also did not close properly because of how they were installed (I fixed that myself), I would advise to close them when it’s warm outside. We asked for a fan at check-in, which we got straight away and which helped (thank you!) but it should really be a standard amenity in the room if you ask me.

Awful - will never visit or recommend

Reception staff and breakfast staff were polite

This is not a hotel - it's basically a hostel. It might have been a nice hotel years ago with lots of lovely facilities but it's now just a glorified hostel with breakfast. Broken items outside... sports stuff broken.. on the walk around the hotel, lots of broken barriers and metal all over. Quite dangerous to walk to the look out point. It really is like someone has forgotten abuot this place and let it go into disrepair.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the breakfast. But theres room for improvement

Room was nice and the breakfast was excellent Staff were very friendly and helpfull.

Check in is at 1600 but our room wasnt ready till 1630. The room itself was clean but the hallways were a bit dirty.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Comfortable bed.

Hotel was ment to be a 4 star,but it was a average 2 star at best,tired and unloved.The evening meal was buffet style.and very unhygienic.No covers on the food which was of a low standard,and plenty of fly's.The room was ment to have been cleaned,but we found it to be dirty.Marks on the walls, cobwebs dead fly's, insects and dust on the floors which had been there for a decent amount of time. Location a little isolated,a long walk in to town .

A perfect place for a stop on a family road trip

The location is beautiful, the staff is very welcoming. There're spacious family rooms for a fair price. They are clean and well-equipped. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is perfect. There's a playing room for children in the main building. I highly recommend this place.

Superb

Very pleased with our stay at this hotel. Very friendly (also speaking a very good English!) staff, an excellent location and a spectacular view. The breakfast was very good, and the parking was very convenient.

The restaurant service was excellent, however, there were only pizza and Flammkuchen available, probably, because it was Sunday evening. The Flammkuchen were apparently defrosted (but still quite a nice snack).

it suited our purposes perfectly for a spur of the moment one night stop whilst travelling home from holiday. Comfortable, clean, welcoming and a fantastic breakfast.

Comfortable and very fair price

Simple yet comfortable room, great water pressure. Very fair price. I especially enjoyed the varied breakfast buffet, including some warm meal options!

This chamber was for people of our age absolutely too small, to see the tv you had to go to bed. There was just one chair. The services, like shower and toilet were located in cramped room.
