If you want to be near center its ok, anything else you can find better option!

Location was good, city center was near! The breakfast was ok for someone who prefers a sweet breakfast, it was great because there were a lot of cakes and sweet things and less salty food and breakfast was every day same!

I book this hotel because of the parking and we were lucky when we arrived because someone was leaving and there was a free parking space but it turned out that we were not allowed to go anywhere by car because when we got out we didn't have a parking place anymore and we had to find parking! When we asked to park inside parking and if it is needed, we will move car, receptionist reject us. But in the morning there was car parked and blocking everyone inside. So it was possible, but not for us. The staff was not too friendly!

Overpriced, outdated and boring hotel

Bett ok. Good located Free parking, if you are lucky to get one of the few park spots.

In the capital of gastronomy in Italy this hotel got the worst breakfast ever. Cheap cheese and iogurt from discounter. Very little fresh fruit, bad coffee. Rooms are plain and boring, no decoration, no care. Looks like an old youth hostel. Bathroom needs urgently update on fixtures. No complimentary water in room and a second nespresso costs 0,50 cents.

On balance, not good value for money

Good location, close to the centre. Easy transport links (bus) to the main places of interest, with bus stop only a few hundred metres away. Also, there are plenty places in neighbourhood for street parking ( zonal parking fees apply). The breakfast offers a good variety of selections.

Reservation made with commitment to pay, but it seemed cancelled by staff, prior to my arrival late in evening. Thus there was surely some confusion and on arrival I was not aware of this. Only later on, via booking.com, I became aware that the reservation was "annulato", and thus in fact, unwittingly, I made a new booking at the spot, on arrival. The rooms are spacious but furniture was dated. The cost for the stay was quite steep.

Bad experience on check-out today. Our flight was at 7:50 so we went to receprion to check- out at 4:30 am. We requested the receptionist(a lad) to book us a taxi to the airport. While waiting for the taxi ( approx 10 -15 minutes) we had a chance to have coffee first. Taxi arrived and we travelled to the aurport. As we are nearly at the airport the taxi driver received a phone call from the hotel saying that the receptionist forgot to tell us to pay the hotel tax. During our concersation with the receptionist I said I will just have to give the money to the driver to give it to the hotel on his way back to Bologna centre. They were conversing on the their language and suddenly the driver said he has to take us back to the hotel to pay it there. So we said we might be late for our flight. The driver said he will take us back to hotel then back to the airport. It was stressful to us because of the limited time. Also we have to pay the taxi drive 3 trips instead of just 1 trip. This is neglience on the hotel staff. They should have taken the hotel tax during our stay which was 4 nights. We paid £70 for the taxi instead of £30 only. The thing here was we waited for almost 15 minutes for the taxi to arrive. The receptionist booked us out alteady so how come he did not noticed right there and then. We know we have to pay hotel tax but it should have been done during our stay .I could have rated exceptional fior this hotel but because of this incident I would rate them as bad. This is for the management to checked on this matter pls.

Extremely well!

While driving to France/Lyon from Ancona we have stopped in Bologna. We are lucky that we did stop there and found this hotel. The stay was extremely well, the bed was comfortable, shower was ok and about the breakfast.. ahh that was really good, clean and tasty. We left the hotel with lovely intentions.

Actually i can’t find anything negative. Maybe the parking issue could be solved. There is a parking area but not big enough that we had to park our car on the street.

Good location. Just outside of the limited traffic zone. 15 minute walk to the city center. Clean. They have a small parking lot for about nine cars, first come first served. It was full at night, but we were able to find free street parking very close by. The next morning, a spot opened up and we parked at the hotel during the day and walked into town. Room was comfortable, not fancy. Typical European size room.

Nice location, good breakfast, really good hotel!

It was everything clean, nice and comfortable, the staff was nice! And breakfast it was really good!

There are no enough place for all the cars at the hotel, so you can park in the street, it wasn’t hard to find a place, but it is a payed area from 8:00am to 8pm so keep on mind that you need paper!

Convenient, spacious and clean.

Breakfast choices were good. Room was large. Walk to the piazza was easy.

There was nothing on the walls of the sleeping area. No pictures, no mirrors so it didn’t feel warm or friendly. Shower is very small and there’s room to make them larger.

the photos of the hotel are not as the real picture, the hotel is not worth the money!

Im not sure I found things I liked.

The hotel in the photos and how it actualy looks like are two very different things. The room is much smaller, the closet smelled really bad and I didnt have the things that were listed. The hairdryer didnt work for more than 10 seconds and the breakfast is quite less from the photos on Booking. I am never coming back!

The hotel was solid, the room was large, clean, with a large terrace. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff. We were lucky to get a free parking space. The walk to the city is approx. 30 min.

There could be some chairs and a table on the terrace.

Great breakfast and convenient location.

First encounter with hotel staff was very unpleasant. After seeing online that pets were allowed and also sending a message to the hotel that we were coming with a small, quiet dog, we arrived with our dog. However, the hotel desk clerk told us that we could not get a room because dogs are NOT allowed. After I explained that I had seen online that the hotel was pet friendly, the clerk told me that she knew FOR A FACT that such was not true. Thus, she implied that I was either a liar or had imagined seeing it. Eventually, however, she reluctantlty gave us a room, saying she was making an exception. After settling in, I AGAIN found online that the hotel takes pets, and I showed the Trip Advisor site to two other hotel desk clerks. I was offered excuses but no apology for the rudeness of the first receptionist. You only get one chance to make a first impression.

Nice hotel.

The hotel has a great location. The staff was welcoming. Easy and quick taxi cervice frim hotel. Breakfast was good. Big rooms with antiquy look. Beds ok. Blankets were wooly. In one of our rooms the ac did not work. Shower was very small. But everything was clean.

Avoid! Don't stay at this hotel!

Free car park… lie! It's a very small space and is always busy. You have to stop on the street and there was a guest with his car towed. In fact, there is no car park. You eat breakfast to the sound of annoying, loud music. When asked to turn down or turn off, staff simply ignore. They are rude and cynical. And the surprise was when checking out, an absurdly high city tax rate even though my reservation was already included. And don't even think about trying to explain it to them, there's no point. I'm trying to be refunded this tax with Booking, but it’s very difficult even though I have the receipts.

Good hotel in Bologna for short stayings

The hotel is close to the city center, it took us about 15 minutes to get there. The staff was nice, always willing to help. The hotel was very clean and neat. It is also very close to the local Emergency service🙂. They offered italian as well as continental breakfast.

Very good

It was in a good position in the city because the bus was in front of the hotel, but it was quite distant from the city centre (30 minutes walk). The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, the AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was good and various.

The bathroom was a bit small, in fact the door couldn’t fully open and it banged on the bidet.

Pleasant

Breakfast was basic, it could be more diverse. Location is fine, the hotel is located in a quiet street, just some 10-15 minutes of walk from the city center.

A taller person simply could not fit the bed, due to its smaller dimensions.

Okay hotel for the price

Upon arriving the hotel staff personnel was very kind and serviceable. The cleaning staff was also very kind. Rooms were very clean.

When leaving the hotel on a Sunday, we found that the staff was busier with having family discussions rather than evaluating their guests' stay. I paid the tourist tax and that was it—no questions about how we experienced our stay or any other communication than the bare minimum. Distance to the city center is a bit too long in my opinion, especially when you want to have dinner or just walk around the city center in general, you'll only find good restaurants where they speak English in the city center. That's something important you must look for when booking. Also, the breakfast was not refilled after 09:00 hours and looked nothing like the photos, on Friday and Saturday there was no meat, and no sandwiches after 8:30 only on Sunday the breakfast looked like the pictures for some reason (I presume because a lot of people behind the reception that day were family who owned the Hotel). The people behind the reception were busier having discussions and conversations amongst themselves than wishing their guests a good morning. They might do well by investing some time and money in their hotel service.

According rating I had too high expectation. Hotel is fine, but the best years are over. Furniture older, basic but good enough. Not hotel for honeymoon or for the demanding visitor. But in walking distance to the center. Car park has limited places.
