Comfortable, central, parking available

Staff in office. Poor customer service skills. Unfriendly and rude welcome by those in the Lakelovers office. Check out time too early. Booking.com suggests 10.00 am, Sykes Cottages states 9.00 am when booked. Many visitors in visitors book said the same as us.

Walking distance to so many things. We parked the car and did everything on foot. Excellent food close by and a wonderful live theatre on the Lake were a huge highlight

No working wifi. No way to contact anyone to help. The property managers never got back to us and the owner left no way to communicate with them.

Excellent location right next to the high street. The flat was in good condition. Lots of room to relax. Everything you need.

Couldn't connect to wifi, code would not work. Not a biggie as just used our phones.

The location is excellent, it's right in the centre of Keswick so literally the drop of a hat to anywhere close to the centre. The flat is safe and cosy. Plenty of room for a family of 4.

The flat above was so noisy, and they weren't doing anything untoward, just walking around but it sounded like elephant feet. The light fixtures on the ceiling would shake when they walked across the floorboards and it woke our 1 year old up several times. It ruined his sleep which therefore ruined ours. We also couldn't sleep until they were asleep. We did mention this to the host on the first night and it did improve the second night, but it did spoil our stay quite a bit. The beds weren't great but they were OK. We also take some accountability for booking an apartment with a young family, but cottages and homes are so expensive.
