We loved this property as it felt homey, cosy and comfortable. Perfect for us and our daughter.

Perhaps a little expensive but still absolutely loved it!

Good location and parking in street outside. Comfortable flat, good facilities. No problems at all.

Vacuum cleaner and washing machine weren’t very effective. Please see if they need a bit of attention.

Location was excellent. Comfortable bed. Quiet location. Responsive heating. Well equipped kitchen. Ease of entry.

Front hedge needs cutting. Doormat at back door needed. Handrail for tea towel needed. Better lighting in front room. Attention to mirrors and front room radiator needed. Cramped washing facilities

Power shower nice, dishwasher / washing machine useful, location good. Parking usually easy enough to find closeby. Hive heating easy to work on odd ocassion needed.

Filthy... had to clean the toilets on arrival as under the seats covered in urine stains. Urine stains on the floor around toilet, sand 'leaking' from obviously old door stop on bathroom floor whenever it was moved, extractor fan very noisy (blocked / broken???), kitchen door handle broken... once closed couldnt be opened again from kitchen side... dangerous! No wifi signal at rear (despite booster). Crockery & cutlery filthy - had to run it all through dishwasher on arrival. Dirty underwear (socks, pants) from previous guest(s) in draw in main bedroom. Stained seating in living room. Broken floorboard in hallway. Dirty entrance rug. Dirty floor in utility room by washing machine. General dust / cobwebs behind draws, beds, etc. False eyelashes found on floor in bedroom on arrival suggesting not cleaned (properly???) on changeover??? Left bedside lamp didnt work in main bedroom. Just all round lack of attention. We are not that picky tbh & could live with most of this but as far as we can remember, probably the dirtiest place we have ever stayed at in Keswick in over 25 years. Shame as other than that it was / should have been a 'nice' base. We didnt complain as whats the point... you just want to get on with your holiday so we cleaned up ourselves (toilets, dishes, etc) and got on with it. Once that was done it was mostly fine and practically, it was a good base, but its not ideally how you want to start your holiday. Also, advert said 2nd bedroom could be double or twin but when we asked for a twin during booking process were told not possible... yet on arrival it should apparently have been possible as was two singles (divans & martresses) put together - just with a double duvet & bedsheet. Hedge next to front door gate needs trimming too - difficult to open / close gate. Not worried about cracks here and there or decor etc... but cleanliness & basic maintenance should be a given.
