Enjoyed our stay apart from the bed

It was very nice good layout and in good position

The bed is in need of new mattress. Also door stop needed on bedroom door.

Location good for spa and beach

The place was not cleaned property ,dirty pots in sink when we arrived,the shower room was filthy and the toilet not been cleaned photos taken, the cooker was filthy on top and inside

I couldn't find the keys codes on my email for the Main Door and the Flat 2 Door

Once in been nice break

Parking was brilliant

No freezer plus had trouble getting keys because I am not good with technology and didn't realise I had been sent a email a week or two before the number for help would not answer so took about 1 hour to find key safe number I do admit was probably mainly my fault but would of preferred letter with house number and key details

Dirty

Been to this property for a few years now but this time round place was very dirty, bathroom was the worst , filthy , couldn’t have a shower because the the tray would fill up with water and overflow all over the floor just wouldn’t drain away took ages then we had the neighbours come up and tell us the water was going through to there flat below so after one occasion we couldn’t use it , tv batteries where dead so tv wasn’t working when we first got there , neighbours both upset aswell at the state of the place all complaining , first day no parking space as promised either Tried getting in contact with the owner Sykes cottages but never replied or answered the phone

Needs some updating

Close to amenities, everything within walking distance. The kitchen and lounge were nicely updated.

Bed was missing 2 slats, so made it uncomfortable to sleep. The shower door wasn't on the runner right, so it was hard to open and close. sqeacky floor board throughout the whole apartments.

Weekend away

Location, 2 mins walk to sea front, 10 mins walk to train station. Great base for exploring. Everything you need for a break. Bedding/towels lovely and clean. WiFi.

Toilet/ shower in bedroom, folding door right next to your head. Bed low down and mattress very soft. Noisey neighbours.

Overall not bad but not great either. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Location was the best.

Parking on site was very tight. Settee very uncomfortable. No proper door to bathroom ( it was a very noisy concertina type. No cold water in bathroom sink. Bed has foot board so couldn’t lay strait.

Great Flat Great Location

Flat was spotless, was a delay in getting a key code and was able to contact the owner easily and gain access as needed. Location was perfect and flat was very comfortable.

We did not get into the property-owner provided 2 x incorrect key codes and then was uncontactable for remainder of the weekend !

Lack of Cleanliness, dust, dirt, and an old sign under the bed, bed head dusty, stains on vanity stool, big gap under fire door, toilet not screwed down, dirty at back of toilet, rust marks from screws in wood panels, mould marks on ceiling in bathroom, and window, thick black mould round shower tray, no cold water from bathroom sink, dried food on underside of glass chop board, crumbs still in toaster tray, kettle full of limescale inside and around the lid, sink and drainer dirty, rusty parts on microwave inside, sofa sagging, tissue wedged in gap in room window and handle came off, blinds dusty, hob could have been cleaner. After seeing all of this I didn't dare look at the mattress.

Good for location. Easy check in/check out. Cosy and warm.

Sofa and mattress old and worn out. Broken slat on bed. Lack of parking, not big enough for two average sized cars. Watered down washing up liquid and hand wash.

The place was spacious. The facilities were overall clean. The location of the flat was safe.

The kitchen freebies were out of date. Kitchen supplies like the kettle was dirty. Both TV's didnt work.

Pleasant

It was a comfortable and clean apartment. It’s ideal for a couple.

The heating didn’t work through radiator. The shower the way to hot and didn’t turn cold at all, made smoke alarms go off through how hot it was. Couldn’t contact the owner when needed.

Clean - quiet- all mod cons included - comfy bed - no one else there as 3 flats in building - so I had the driveway - otherwise parking a royal pain in the backside
