Property was really clean, good shower. The location is great. Really good price. Thoughtful touch of having throws on settees giving the opportunity for visitors to have their dogs sitting with them.
Outlook from rear of property is a little confusing as to where you can use. Lack of a welcome pack even if it's just milk.

Lovely cottage with great amenities. Amanda was superb in communication throughout our stay. Very dog friendly and we have a gentle giant Newfoundland dog. Will definitely stay again.

cottage is situated on a very busy road, heavy traffic started around 6:30 am with large truck making loud sounding traffic with the bedroom being in the front of the house

Quiet, comfortable and cozy. Very pretty and clean.
Very limited range of eateries within walking distance.

The cottage was close to amenities without being touristy. Good places to eat within walking distance. Nice walks on the doorstep. Cottage was very cosy and well thought out.. Lovely bathroom with a great shower and the bedroom a really good size. Instruction book was incredibly useful. Nice and quiet upstairs despite being next to a busy road during the day. Was easy to keep warm and comfortable.
A pity there wasn't a bigger area to sit at the back as there is a really nice outlook at the back. Might be a pain if taking a dog. Apart from one time was able to park at the front of the house without too much trouble but there is no guarantee that you will be able park next to the house. Although there were other places to park only a short walk away. The road it is on is noisy with traffic during the day and while there is double glazing the noise seems to come through the letter box. Not a big issue if you are likely to be out in the day.

Pictures absolutely do not do it justice, I was so nicely surprised when we arrive because it’s way nicer in person, the cottage was clean, cosy and well furnished and had all the necessities.
I left my bag there and the owners kindly returned it.
We went over Easter bank holiday and there was a cute little basket full of Easter treats which was a lovely kind touch.

Lovely cottage, very clean and everything we needed. Good location for getting to various attractions.
Space for the car was a bit hit & miss. It was a bit noisy but not too bad.

Very clean and well placed for pubs, cafes and a few minutes walk to Cromford Mill. Walks on the door step. Just a walk into Matlock Bath.
Very well equipped, comfortable and tastefully decorated cottage.
Parking is on a first come first served basis, and unfortunately we missed the boat...
No garden for our dog so after a full day out we still needed to take him out first thing and last thing at night which made for a less relaxing break but the weather was glorious so it wasn't a hardship.
We were only here for 2 nights but I wouldn't stay for a week for this reason only.
The stairs are very steep so not ideal for someone with mobility issues. It is very old and it is as it is but worth bearing in mind.

Bobbin Cottage really is a home from home and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. There was everything we needed and loved the fact that there was a small freezer so we could make ice for our drinks at the end of the day! The Cottage is just a short walk away from all Cromford has to offer and is perfect for doing the Black Rock circular walk. As you'd expect in a property of its age the stairs are on the steep side so the cottage wouldn't suit people with limited mobility. Cromford is a great base to explore the area and you could quite easily spend time at Bobbin Cottage without moving your car.

Small but just right for 2. Everything we needed was there.
We're not used to the road noise but that was only a daytime thing and not that loud anyway.

Very comfy and well fitted out cottage. Good location for walking and we walked one day from the door of the cottage. We liked The Boat pub.
Location on busy road. I find the entry system (key box and code) a bit strange and impersonal.

the noise from the road was intense!

The location was good, the cottage was comfortable and adequate for our purposes.
The continental quilt was winter weight. There should have been a lightweight alternative for the summer. It was supposed to be pet friendly but there was not even a small garden at the rear.

small cottage but well equipped. good location, village has decent amenities, great cafe (Tor cafe) at the end of the road serving cheap vegan and veggie food, Greyhound hotel quality, more pricey food for a special night out :) Key collection via key safe box, so very easy. communication from hosts prior to arrival was very good plus a comprehensive information book in the property. would stay again.
could use more plug points please but, it wasn't an issue.

Lovely comfortable cottage with everything you could want for a break in a lovely area. Everything as described and facilities suited our mix of self catering and eating out. Tissington village was a lovely find. Got a good meal and warm welcome at The Boat
Parking outside could potentially be an issue although we always managed to park somewhere along the terrace. Stairs were steep as described - fine for us, but not for everyone
