The Molly House

The location of the Molly House is great. Less than five minutes from the station, close to Funny Girls, North Pier and the Tower. The area around the Molly House felt safe. Check-in was simple and I felt welcome. A good breakfast was provided and I tackled the full English for all three mornings of my stay, which is unusual for me. The fried bread was a delicious treat. You don't need to stop for lunch when you're staying at the Molly House! My room was small but very nicely decorated with art work on the walls and a mirror in the room as well as in the bathroom. The decor was coordinated. The curtains were effective at cutting out light. There was shelving in the bathroom and in the shower for toiletries. There was adequate wardrobe space and other storage. Tea and coffee was provided in the room in good quantities. I worked out the shower early on so that was fine. The option was there to have a room service when you needed it rather than an automatic daily service. I prefer this approach. I didn't use the Molly House bar but it looked like a useful addition for people with young children. I would certainly stay at the Molly House again.

The ensuite was quite small but I managed okay being small myself. The toilet made some odd sounds when refilling which worried me at first but nothing came of it so need to worry. Toilet paper was in an awkward place - grab it before you sit down. Charging facilities and lamp were not directly by the bed. None of these things caused a real issue and are fairly usual in a single room. The room was fine for me - who needs a grand room when you're in Blackpool?

I was not satisfy with the bathroom it was cramp and not a lot of room.
