The hotel itself if beautiful, and it's location was great! Our room was very spacious and lovely, and it was so charming overlooking the water. The staff and owner were so helpful and nice, and they really mad our stay feel special.

It was very clean and the building well maintained.
We got the Montpellier room, which “has views over the garden”. The garden is actually a driveway that people walk past often so there’s no sense of privacy in the room. We had strangers looking in, even through the pulled-down opaque blinds.
To get to the room you need to walk downstairs and it feels like you’re going into a basement, which isn’t a nice entry experience.
Perhaps the rooms with views of water provide a good experience, but this room did not.
