Great hosts, great location! Highly recommend!

I had a great experience staying at Villa Ragusa Vecchia! Miho and Mia were wonderful from start to finish - they were both extremely friendly and responsive to me, and answered all my questions to ensure I had the best time in Dubronvik, giving me recommendations of things to do and places to eat. The location of the Villa was perfect - it is less than a minute away from the entrance to Old City and also to the local bus lines. My room was quiet, clean, and I loved the heated floors after coming back from a day of hiking. I will definitely be staying there again during my next visit to Dubronvik. Thank you, Miho and Mia!

AMAZING location and INCREDIBLE patio!!!

Miho was so helpful! He met us outside the apartment (even with a broken foot) and showed us around the place, giving recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities. The PATIO was glorious! We accessed the shared balcony, but mostly had it to ourselves in September. We did get to meet some other guests on the patio and shared some local wine with them while we gave each other recommendations of things to do. The apartment is just uphill from the taxi stop outside Ploce Gate and just downhill from the arial tram and bus stop.

Fabulous room with all amenities. Location beyond superb. Outside my door was an exceptional restaurant. A few more steps down a great place to eat BF or have an espresso. A few more steps is the entry to Old Town. Also, Kozum grocery & a bakery a short walk. Outside my room was a private deck! A short walk up the street is the cable car entrance. All of this without walking 100’s of steps. Which you will appreciate after seeing Split & Dubrovnik.

Beautiful place, great hosts, walking distance to the old town, easy access to the bus.

It was just a bit difficult to find, but we got close. We easily contacted the host, given the keys and escorted to the property and to a free parking spot.

The place was in the middle of the middle of Old Town, which was great. Finding a place to park while we unloaded our bags was tight, but our host was a great help!

Excellent location and amazing staff

We were received by Miho, he was very attentive all the time. The rooms are perfectly located right outside old town, making it accessible if you don’t want to be around the loud old town with many many stairs. I would highly recommend to stay here! The photos are from the shared terrace upstairs, our room was downstairs.

One week stay in Dubrovnik

The location next to the entrance to old town gate was excellent. Great private deck and a very large communal deck. Beautiful views and everything you need for a great stay. Restaurants very close by.

Fantastic had a great time, and the location was on a great area.

Location, location and location, just outside the Wall and then an easy stroll into the old town city within the wall. Mia and Meko were superb host, who provided so much information and recommendations on where to go to eat as what to see in Dubrovnik. Would even recommend doing the Tuk Tuk tour to get a better appreciation of the view from above.

Could have a BBQ on top of their terrace, but understand why with trying to clean as not all customers would want clean after use.

Great find

Mia was incredibly helpful—nothing was ever too much trouble. She organised our airport pick-up, booked our taxi, and even contacted our next accommodation on our behalf. She gave us great restaurant recommendations and tips on how to get around by bus. The location is perfect, right in the centre of everything, with a beautiful rooftop to enjoy. Nothing negative to say—highly recommend!

Exceptional stay!

The location couldn’t be better — just a 2-minute walk from the entrance to Dubrovnik’s Old Town. The shared terrace was a real highlight, with beautiful views of the city walls and the ocean. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. Even when the airline lost my luggage, Mia and Miho were incredibly helpful and kind. They let me borrow a charger and when it arrived, placed my luggage in my room. Their hospitality made a stressful situation so much easier. Mia and Miho were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I honestly couldn’t recommend this accommodation more — I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Incredible stay at this local family run property! I loved every second in Dubrovnik and this stay made it! I loved the terrace in particularly - I sat up there each morning with my breakfast. Could not get a better location.

You could hear noise from the apartment above from furniture moving around but didn't really bother me as they went to sleep at a similar time!

Could not have been a more perfect location. Just steps from the Dubrovnik Gate. Easy access to good food options. (Try the Smashburger. It was great.). The apartment was charming and well stocked.

Would definitely choose to stay here again

Excellent location, just 50 meters or so to the entry gates of Old Town (with the added bonus of car access meaning one doesn’t have to drag suitcases through the pedestrian only Old Town). The shared terrace was beautiful and a great spot to relax with a bottle of wine out of the hustle and bustle. Apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The location is really close to the old town gate, it's good and easy to enter the old town. Mia, the owner is also very friendly and nice, she helps us a lot and recommend very good restaurants in the old town🙂 Many many thanks to her!

Brilliant Apartment & Perfect Old Town Location!

The location was incredible - everything you need is on the doorstep! Location 10/10. The hosts, the room & all of the facilities provided were all great too. Everything you could need for few nights right by the old town. We visited late April & got a really good as well 😁

The larger ‘family apartment’ was located directly above our double room & we could literally hear everything. Every single footstep, the moving of furniture, children running around, and there was even a dog staying with one of the guests that we could hear it playing with its ball… This may sound silly and during the day it’s not so bad, but being kept awake late into the evenings (midnight) and then woken early morning (6am) is really unfair & uncool. It was so bad that we actually knocked at one point, but a few mins later it was back to normal. I don’t actually think the people above could have realised just how loud everything sounded for the people below. If it wasn’t for this, we would have given a 9/10 for the overall rating because everything else about the property was very good! I know that hosts can’t always help if their guests are inconsiderate by nature, but given the structure of the building I think it would be a good idea to introduce quiet hours or something like this for the benefit of all guests.

Lovely apartment close to Old Town

We had a 3 night stay. Lovely room next to Old Town. Nice terrace to sit out at night. Our hosts were really friendly and informative. The facilities were fairly new and very clean. There was a supply of tea and coffee provided as well and plenty of toiletry items. We found the room very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend a stay here.

Villa Ragusa Vecchia could not have been better. Location is excellent for visiting the old city and walking about town. If you Our hosts were the nicest and most accommodating we have ever encountered. Almost forgot to mention the little shop next door selling focaccia sandwiches ... yummy!

Its just a small nit ... the biggest disco in the old city is across the street and you can hear the bas thumping at night. It did not bother us and we slept soundly.
