    I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel! My room offered a fantastic view of the Straits of Johor. While the hotel was last renovated in 2014, the room was well-maintained and comfortable. I especially enjoyed having the pillow menu, as I could choose a firm pillow that provided my neck with ample support, guaranteeing a good night’s sleep. The happy hour at executive lounge offered a good spread of hot food that went well with the wines, and it was a treat to drink to the sights of the Straits of Johor. Breakfast buffet spread at Makan Kitchen was also impressive!

    We arrived at the hotel at 1am. Found the bed uncomfortable and requested a room change. Concierge by the name of Ragesh sent a staff up to our room. in the middle of the night. To test? our bed??!! We were furious and went down to the concierge. My partner had worn her tshirt front-to-back in a hurry. The concierge Ragesh openly laughed when he saw this. Does he know what customer service/hospitality is??! He admitted that he had sent the staff up to CHECK our claim that the bed was uncomfortable. We didn't expect to be treated like children or some unreliable characters at Hilton. Just as bad was his disrespect laughing at my partner. I expect far, far, better standards at Hilton. Your staff may have poor/little knowledge of standard Hilton practices, but respect certainly shouldn't have to be taught.

    Memerlukan pencahayaan lampu ( ligthning ) yang terang termasuk bilik mandi kerana suasana bilik berkeadaan tidak ceria. Lampu meja yang disediakan tidak membantu buat saya membuat kerja dan on-line stuying for my daughter. Keluasan bilik sangat berpadanan bagi saya dan keluarga untuk solat berjemaah. Sarapan pagi menu yang dihidangkan sangat baik Tahniah gia. Sekiranya ada rezeki kemungkinan akan menginap lagi di sini kerana bandar Johor Bahru ini belum semua sempat dilawat kerana tumpuan ialah menyaksikan perlawanan bola JDT x Chealsea pada 09.08.26 yang lalu.

    I am disappointed with our recent stay at DoubleTree Johor Bahru with my family. We chose this hotel mainly for its swimming pool facilities for our children. However, we were not informed during check-in that the pool was closed for maintenance and improvement works, and only discovered this when we intended to use it. Had we been informed earlier, either prior to arrival or at check-in, we would have been able to make a more suitable decision for our family holiday. While we understand that maintenance is necessary, clearer communication and transparency with guests are important. The lack of notice regarding the closure of a key facility significantly impacted our stay, particularly as our children were very disappointed. I hope the hotel will improve its communication in the future to prevent similar experiences for other guests.
