Riad Wow

Smart quirky hotel. Very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff.

Noisy when the night club opposite was in full flow, but it did finish at a reasonable time. Shower head not secured well and not adjustable so pointed in a strange direction!

the location to the Medina was perfect it is a very beautiful riad, very beautiful decor staff was excellent

The riad is somehow better than many (I visited too many). The quirky looking furniture makes it shine at a first glance. The location even if not in the medina is good, as it’s just 50 meters from one of the best area of the medina and you can get to the riad by car. Rooms are spacious and furnished (maybe over furnished). Good value for money. 1 or 2 people from the staff are very nice.

Rooms are obsolete and over furnished, but not very functional. A tv with 8 channel (6 Arab), a bed made by joining 2 singles and so on. The lobby seems a store with a weird vibe with those sliding doors you think you are entering from the back door. Breakfast was funny. Can’t say there was no food. But the food seemed like a pot luck rather than something that came from the mind of a chef. All mediocre food covered in plastic wrap to keep the birds at bay. Ever heard of the tray covers? The egg station was a wobbly table with a built in kitchen laying on top of it, a couple of Uber used pots and no service at all. An erratic and stressed, nervous butler handled the terrace f&b. He likes to argue with customers and has no manners. Marrakech Riad scene is difficult. Most Riads have amazing pictures, but the reality is usually grim. I give this Riad a 6 because at least what you see in the pictures is near the reality, but for service and anything beside sleeping is a 4. The rooftop is weird and amateurish.
