I liked the location a lot, it’s just down the road from a lot of major attractions so you can get out early and beat the crowds. But it’s not in a touristy area so it’s quiet at night.

It was a little hard to find but I also don’t have much experience with apartment style Italian buildings.

Very good contact with owner. Nice welcome at the reception. Interesting room in the old style building. Good public transport connections - many trams and buses around.

It was very central; 10 minutes walk to all main sights. Very comfortable room and bathroom; heating warm on chilly days. Also outside balcony to use. Staff member very friendly and helpful.

Lovely receptionist, she was very helpful and a credit to the place and was very friendly & welcoming to me. Good location and proximity to SMN Train Station, Duomo etc (all within 20 min of hotel). Decent value for money. Room was clean enough and sheets were clean. Free WiFi which is decent enough for browsing internet and watching YouTube etc. Complimentary tea, coffee, and toiletries should you need them.

The whole place is very dated and the owners should seriously considering investing money into renovating the place. The air con unit was a nice touch, but it was very loud and it was difficult to have it on when sleeping. The shower drain was emitting an unpleasant smell and the lack of ventilation in the room means it was difficult to escape it unless I closed the bathroom door and slept with the window open, which then meant I was awoken at 6am by other people moving around. Only one light switch in the bedroom area worked, and it was a very harsh bulb. The hallway lights to enter the property were rarely switched on - in the evening I had to use my phone torch to ensure I didn’t fall down them. Reception is only constantly manned at check-in times, so I did not feel comfortable storing my luggage here for a couple of hours after check out despite it being offered. This place is fine to stay at for a night before a flight like I did, but I wouldn’t recommend staying more than a night.
