Peaceful waterfront stay with beautiful views, but blind need fixing

The location was lovely — about a 30-minute stroll to the Old Town along the water, which we really enjoyed. We didn’t mind being a bit outside of the Old Town since the area was peaceful, with a grocery store just down the street and a few restaurants along the water serving traditional Montenegrin food. The views were beautiful. We stayed in the top apartment with roof windows. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen (with a fridge) was useful. It was also great having the water right outside — you could lay down a towel or jump straight in for a swim whenever you wanted. The environment was quiet and laid-back, and there were even deck chairs in the courtyard that we could use. Instructions for the lockbox and check-in were clear and easy to follow, which made things very straightforward.

The only real downside was the blind in the bedroom. The spring was broken, so we couldn’t secure it properly and had to leave it open. We contacted the host — he did respond at first but didn’t fully understand, and after we explained again, we never got a reply again, which was disappointing. This meant the room was very bright early in the mornings, which wasn’t ideal. For anyone with accessibility issues, it’s also worth noting that the apartment is on the third floor with no lift, though this wasn’t a problem for us.

The apartment was clean, super comfortable beds, full kitchen and everything very nice, facing the sea and close to the historic centre about 20 minutes walk.

Perfect beach location

Great terrace, including beach chairs and possibility to shower outside after swimming. The sea is just across the street so perfect location. Really good communication via WhatsApp with tons of advice for restaurants etc. we had a lovely time.

Our recent stay at this apartment in Kotor was absolutely perfect, and we couldn't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the truly amazing, panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor and the surrounding mountains. Waking up to such a stunning vista each morning and enjoying sunsets from the balcony was an experience we'll never forget. The photos simply don't do it justice! The apartment's close proximity to everything was incredibly convenient. We were just a short, pleasant stroll away from the charming Old Town, allowing us to easily explore its historic streets, enjoy delicious meals, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere without any hassle. All the main attractions were practically on our doorstep. Beyond the views and location, the apartment itself was spotlessly clean and incredibly well-maintained. It felt fresh, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into ensuring guests have a comfortable and pristine environment. Finally, a special mention must go to our host, who was exceptionally communicative and helpful throughout our entire trip. They were always quick to respond, provided fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, activities, and hidden gems, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable. Their insights made our visit to Kotor even more special. If you're looking for an apartment in Kotor that offers unparalleled views, an unbeatable location, impeccable cleanliness, and the support of a wonderful host, look no further. We can't wait to return!

The pillows and mattress was quite hard, however, all the positives outweighed the negatives. Also bedding wasn't provided for the sofa bed, so had to use a blanket.

If we could choose again we would choose it again because of the location and the atmosphere of the house.

The location of the apartment is very good: beautiful sea view, 20 minutes walk to the old town, half an hour walk to the bus station. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. The whole place is very cosy - old-fashioned.

The yard and the furniture on the terrace were not clean. The floor in the rooms is very creaky.

A beautiful property in a stunning/quiet location.

The property was in a superb location; a 25 minute walk from the old town, with beautiful views out across the bay. The local shopping centre (Aroma) is a 5 minute walk, along with a really nice bar/restaurant (Platanus), and pharmacy if needed. Drago was incredibly helpful and provided lots of useful information, he also arranged transport from the airport for us, along with letting us check in slightly earlier. The property itself has a traditional feel, and we found it well equipped for the time we were there, the beds were comfortable and the apartment was well kept/clean.

The only thing that really bothered us was that we could hear the family in the apartment above, the floors are old and you can here them walking/stomping from one room to another, this went on until early hours and was quite loud/disturbing.

Value for money, but could be misleading for "Sea View"

About the things that are great: - very well located, with old town in 5 mins driving distance and restaurants in 5 mins walking distance. - most basic amenities provided for and cleanliness maintained. - the hosts provided all relevant information. About the things that could've been better: - the home gets unusually cold throughout the day and night. (I visited in March and it felt like the home temperature was colder than the outside temperature, which can be a bit uncomfortable, specifically when the bedroom doesn't have AC) - We booked a sea view apartment however we were provided a loft / attic room, which means the only window was on the sideway ceiling. Now, that's clearly not a sea view, is it?

The proximity to the Bay, to swim and watch cruise ships and activities on the bay. The terrace, often sole use of and provision of seating and tables. Well equipped kitchen. Very spacious apartment. Far enough away from the busy roads and Old Town but accessible to the facilities of these when needed. Good supermarket nearby and restaurants when required.

Nothing to dislike but personally found the shower a little awkward to get out of. Maybe another sunshade on terrace would be nice

Great place for a scenic break in Kotor

Location was great, right beside the water. The rooms had air-con, parking space was provided, with many additional extras. There was an outdoor space for eating with great views of the bay, ideal for breakfast or dinner. There was also an outdoor shower and an outdoor cooking area. Drago was extremely helpful on arrival. Would highly recommend.

good location and a house with history

Beautiful and quiet location right on the waterfront of Kotor bay, in a historic building with Venetian style. Everything was top notch: cleanliness, comfort, facilities, the kindness of the hosts, location, opportunities to spend the holidays and an inner courtyard that offers several areas to relax and spend time, including a garden behind the house. The host is a very nice person and willing to help you at any time. This is one of the places we would return to on another visit through Montenegro.

In full season and with the villa fully occupied, it could be difficult to find a parking space nearby. We were lucky because on the first day the host blocked the 2 parking spaces in front of the house, and then we found them unoccupied.

Comfortable and spacious appartment right at the bay with great views in perfect location

The appartment is in a charming historical building, offering lots of space, big rooms, fully equipped kitchen and fantastic views of the bay from the windows. Laundry and iron available in the basement (free) and a drying rack in the appartment. At the back of the house there's a nice garden with orange tree, but the big terrace with broad view over the bay (and chairs and tables available for all guests) tempted us even more. Or take a beach chair and umbrella available for free to the pier just across the street and jump right into the crystal clear water for a refreshing swim. The road is not very busy, only local traffic in one direction since the main road is located higher on the hill. Nice restaurants with terraces at the waterside nearby. It's a nice walk along the bay (about 15 or 20 minutes) to the old town of Kotor. If you take the road right of the shopping center Kameliya at the end of the bay road and cross the little bridge into the old town, you can avoid walking along the busy main road for the last part of the walk. Be sure to walk up to the fort, the views are amazing! Warm welcome by the owner who gave us all the info we needed, easy to communicate in English. He doesn't live in the house but nearby, and replies quickly to calls or whatsapp messages.

The apartment fulfilled all my expectations and more. Everything we needed was available, it's not a modern or new apartment but perfect for a historical building and short or longer stay.

Cool place to stay in Kotor

Nice large apartment in a very unique 16 century villa. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace and exploring the property. Very unique! The apartment itself was great, very large, full kitchen, had everything we needed. There is a washing machine on the premises as well which was really helpful and prevented us from having to find a laundromat. Host was very welcoming and helpful.

Great house, great Montenegro

I am in love with Kotor and the beautiful Montenegro. Apartment Radimir is an attraction in itself and deserves a special time to explore it. It exceeded all my expectations, we did not want to leave and we will definitely visit it again. The house is very special, there is a parking space, a safe yard for children to play, stunning views and a lot of history. The apartment is very comfortable, clean, warm and with an amazing location. Thanks for the hospitality. Take care of this beautiful house as ever.

Cozy place at the sea line

Apartment is located in an authentic old building, right at the cost line, within walkable distance from the old town. The supermarket is not more than 5min walk, the same regards some restaurants, bars. The owner is very welcoming, i was provided with all necessary information at the check-in. I could feel very comfortable during my stay thanks to all amenities offered in the property. Nice view and good Wifi is a bonus. If one day I am back to Kotor, this place will be my first choice.

Lovely house in Kotor

The balcony was awesome! I’ll never forget the view. The host was kind and easy to communicate. Location is good to reach to the center.

It is not easy to find a parking place near house. There are public places so if you come back too late, it may be full. The apartment is pretty old so we could hear the sounds of all the other guests.

I read before trip - 20 steps till sea . To be honest couldn't believe but it is truth . I am a big swimmer and for me was excellent . Just open eyes at morning , wear swimsuit and ... go . Yes ... special swim shues will be very useful
