A truly warm and memorable stay — we felt like home.

We arrived late, but the host kindly waited for us and prepared a delicious evening tea. She was very welcoming and let us have dinner in the cozy living room by the fireplace — a man occasionally came in to add wood to the fire, which made it feel even warmer and more homely. In the morning, we were delighted by a homemade breakfast with fresh fruits, baked pudding, and jams made by the host herself. She speaks excellent English and is a wonderful conversationalist!

Wonderful host, peaceful location, comfortable bed and lovely breakfast! Freshly made apple/pear juice, yogurt from local farm, cheese and a variety of breads. So welcoming and informative on the local restaurants. Would gladly stay again!

Don't book this place-disonest owner.

Nothing -don't book this place!!!

We made a reservation with Booking and got a confirmation. We drove to the place which is remote and far from everything to find out that the place is closed. We waited there,called the owner a few times, sent mail-there was no response. At hight we canceled and booked another place using Booking .now the owner is refusing to cancel the payment and is laying and claiming that we spent the night there.

Lovely B&B about 40 minutes away from Mont Saint-Michel.

Everything was very nice at Vaintain B&B. It is about 30-40 minutes drive from Mont Saint-Michel. You have to have a car to reach this place at a reasonable time. Plenty of parking in the front yard. Ms Vaintan is very knowledgeable about the locale and is very helpful. I was there during the warm days in July. I had to keep the windows open to cool the room. If global warming continues at this rate, the top floor rooms will soon need AC in the warm months.

It is not very close to Mont Saint-Michel. But the drive is pleasant and you get some nice views of the Abbey on the way.

Cozy house with a view

Amazing place, it's located in a quiet picturesque village, has a garden and nice view. Host is very friendly and accommodating, we had a warm welcome. House is full of lovely rustic decorations, very cozy. Bed was surprisingly comfortable, good mattress.

Not a complaint but a suggestion, maybe add a fan or AC to the room, it might get quite warm in summer months.

Beautiful house in the country. Lovely big room and shower room. Beautiful quiet location. Very French rural setting with a great authentic French restaurant just down the road. Within easy distance of Mont Saint Michel. Can't fault it

I loved my breakfast! It was simple yet healthy and filling. I was offered refills on anything but the yogurt, breads, jams, fruit and tea were plenty. I loved the view of the yard from the breakfast table. Very pastoral.

That I had to leave! I would have been happy to stay longer but my schedule did not allow for it.

Friendly, good quality and value for money

Very nice cottage surrounded bij hedges and a beautiful view on the sea. A livingroom with a real fireplace that is lit in the morning for the guests. The breakfast was extensive with homemade cake and products from the farm. The hostess was very friendly and speaks good english. The room was beautiful and spacious with a very good bathroom.

We liked the whole setting, no complaints.

A stopover stay on way back to UK but would happily return to Vaintan B&B to explore area further.

Ideal location for exploring the coast near Mont-Saint-Michel. The continental style breakfast was excellent both in terms of quantity and variety. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you for your hospitality and careful adherence to Covid precautions :).

The property is located in a very quiet area, making it great choice for those seeking to have a proper, restful sleep. The host was extremely gentle and helpful, providing us with good tips about the area. She was even so kind as to serve us breakfast after breakfast hours. There's a beautiful view to the garden and the bay from the dinning table.

A great place for a relaxing holiday.

This is a very fine place to stay. We were here with some friends for a couple of days and really enjoyed our stay. The hosts are really warm and friendly and speaks excellent english. We also rceived tips for some places to visit and were not disappointed 😊 The rooms are very cozy and large. And the breakfast are delicious with homemade jam.

Jederzeit wieder

Wir waren eine ganze Woche da und haben keinen Tag bereut. Das besondere an diesem B&B ist die fantastische, ruhige Lage mit Blick aufs Meer. Das Zimmer ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, hat ein bequemes Doppelbett und bietet genug Platz für 2 Personen. Das Bad hat ebenfalls eine angenehme Größe. Alles ist super sauber. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich und hat uns viele gute Tipps gegeben um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Das Frühstück ist natürlich "Französisch" und hauptsächlich Süß. Jeden Tag gab es eine kleine Überraschung dazu z.B. Quark, verschiedene Obstsorten, Ei und 1x sogar einen selbstgemachten Galette. Auf nachfragen hat die Gastgeberin uns gerne auch den Wunsch nach Käse erfüllt. Der nahe gelegene Strand lädt zum entspannen ein. Insgesamt hatten wir wundervolle Tage im Vaintan B&B, sowie in der Normandie.

La chambre était spacieuse et la literie confortable Le calme et la proximité pour aller à pied à la plage

Petit déjeuner très peu varié . Pas de laitage. Pas d’autre fruit que des prunes. Une seule boisson chaude par personne. Pas de possibilité d’avoir un autre café c’est dommage . Hôtesse peu présente au petit déjeuner .

Ligging kort bij de baai van de Mont-Saint-Michel en t.o.v. de andere attracties in de buurt. Het ontbijt was oké.

* Geen ontvangstpresentje bv. drankje of snoepje zoals in vele andere B&B's. *Jammer, geen koffie of theefaciliteiten. * Bed was nogal smal. En toch graag indien geen koppel twee aparte bedden voorzien: eventueel een bed dat je uiteen kan schuiven. * Douchecel is verouderd. * Badkamer voorzien van geluidsdichte deur.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen und hat einen grossen wunderbaren Garten. Die Inhaberin ist sehr sympathisch und bereitete uns ein hervorragendes Frühstück zu. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Und hatte ein grosses Bad. Wir konnten zu Fuss zum wunderschönen Plage de Mont St. Michel laufen.

Wir hatten das Zimmer Hortensia im Parterre, sehr praktisch wegen Gepäck, jedoch etwas unruhig, wenn andere Gäste da waren, die in den angrenzenden Frühstückraum gingen und sich dort unterhielten. Die Dusche hat wenig Wasserdruck.

L'accès à la maison avec un petit chemin compliqué avec notre grosse voiture. Pour mon époux le matelas qu'il a trouvé inconfortable avec son problème de dos.
