And interesting place but do pay attention in summer time.

The hotel is located in a quiet town near the Italian Alps. It is close enough to drive to the Slovenia Alps for the beautiful Soča river and nearby. The big plus for staying on the Italian side is the food. There is a small but good quality supermarket and cafe just right next to the hotel. The staff are extremely nice and kind.

The hotel is lovely, strong in character and personality. But do mind that it is old, and it is not equipped for the heat wave in modern times. The room is very hot and difficult to sleep in, unfortunately.

It was a great experience to stay in the historical villa. The location is great, close to the bus stop. The view around the building is nice. The interior inside is very beautiful. Even though the building is old it is very well adapted to modern needs. The room we got was very spacious and comfortable, with comfy beds and a private bathroom. There was hot water and the room was very warm. There was also a big TV. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary things. It is easy to cook there. The inner garden is also very cozy. It was super easy to communicate with the host, which seemed very friendly. In the same building, but with a separate entrance from the road there is also a bar/cafe which is also very cozy with beautiful interior and cheap prices for drinks. It was a very enjoyable stay!

Unfortunately you could hear the noise of a neighboring pub in the room, which only closed at 3am. Furthermore, some sockets in the shared kitchen and in the room had no electricity or were unsuitable for German plugs.

Lovely old villa, great experience

Beautiful old villa. We were the only guests. We had the entire villa to ourselves as no staff on site. It was great that we could make coffee in the kitchen of the villa. Really cute place.

Great place but the service can imrpove

The villa is very nice and the staff was welcoming during check in. Very clear instructions and they helped us booking a dinner table.

There was no hot water in green and pink room, while there was hot water downstairs. A smaller detail, but felt a bit weird: we booked the whole villa but the personnel was around in the evening and in the morning, prepping for the next day despite the check out is quite early (10 am).

Very beautiful villa with accessible garden, large bedroom, full kitchen available to us with all we needed for breakfast. Friendly staff.

As the property is not staffed, someone has to come wait for you for the check-in, requiring some additional coordination about time of arrival.

Un soggiorno nell’eleganza

Soggiornare in una villa storica è davvero un’ esperienza affascinante! La camera era spaziosa ed elegante, letto comodo. Il bagno un po’ piccolo peró onestamente non è stato un problema. Grazie a Paolo per l’accoglienza. Accanto alla villa c’è un parcheggio pubblico gratuito e abbastanza spazioso.

In generale è stato un ottimo soggiorno. Essendo però una villa grande, forse un po’ di segnaletica per indicare dove si trova la cucina o le stanze sarebbe apprezzata.

Mi è piaciuta tantissimo l'atmosfera che si respira all'Interno di questa meraviglia Villa, sembra di vivere in un tempo antico. I dettagli dell'arredo sono straordinari. Ed è pulitissima!!! Mi viene solo da dire WOW!!! 😍 Abbiamo dormito nella Suite Bacco, con accesso diretto al giardino.. fiabesca davvero.

Siamo tornati da voi per la bellezza della location, il fascino di una villa d'epoca mantenuta come tale dentro e fuori le stanze. Un'esperienza da provare almeno una volta. Poi l'ottima posizione, per le nostre esigenze è top, e infine il pub sottostante sempre all'interno della proprietà: una chicca.
