Great cheap breakfast, great location opposite Shopping Centre

Problematic

More trouble than it's worth

Problem after problem. First of the location isn't correct on booking.com so that wasted over 30 minutes to find the place. Then after that you arrive to locked doors and a screen, automated check in that is difficult and annoying. Once you do that you realise that it wants city tax payment of 1.50, then when you try to pay it doesn't allow you to use your Google wallet resulting in more time wasted to get the link sent via email by the person on the intercom system just so you can be pay the 1.50 before being allowed into the hotel, bearing in mind its late cold and you have now been trying to get in for well over an hour. To be fair the gentleman on the intercom system was kind and helpful

Short stays near airport ideal.for this location.

Clean and comfortable. All the shops nearby made it affordable. No need to drive or pay for transportation to get food.

Small bathroom but unit overall was okay.

It was very close to where I was at the time and where I needed to be in the morning.

I didn't take a shower because I didn't have shower shoes and was concerned about getting a foot fungus or something if I stepped in it with foot protection.

Horrendous and disgusting DO NOT STAY HERE!

We checked out early due to: The staff were rude. Unsafe location. Dirty and unclean. No bins. Toilet blocked and after asking no one came to sort it. Smelled really bad.

Stay away

Nothing to like - stay away.

The worst customer service I ever experienced. Not speaking any English. I wanted to cancel the booking and send multiple messages amd emails which never got replied. I ended up with double booking. Staff there is extremely rude. There is no quality whatsoever. One receptionist misinformed me about the breakfast saying it is included and ends at 11:30. The next day at 11:15 I was told by a very rude lady to get out because it is finished, although the food was still out and people were eating breakfast. No discussion, she just tirned her back on me. The next day another receptionist said I do not have breakfast. Make up your mind! The room was smelling like sewer and was full of bugs and spiders. It was disgusting. Weeks bedore I requested a quiet room far from tje entrance. It was igored. I got a room closest to the entrance so I heard door slamming amd people talking or screaming while watching a game on tv in the ‘lobby’. This was the worst I experienced amd teust me I stayed in many hostels and motels. Aboid at all cost.

Good rate and quality as expected

Location is good enough for an overnight stay (by car). The rate was good considering it's not far from Geneva. The room is clean.

The staff who was at the reception was smoking outside but left a strong cigarett smell when being inside, which made it very unpleasant. Especially when the hotel is advertised 100% non smoking. My room also smell a bit of cigarett.

Warm shower and comfy bed, bikes allowed inside

The manager kindly let me keep my bike in my room as I was concerned about it getting stolen if it was left outside overnight. I was ready to fight my case but he let me bring it in no questions asked. The check-in and check-out times are also very forgiving.

The breakfast (€7.50) certainly left something to be desired

Reasonable Price, Extensive Walking

Clean, Easy access to room, quick checking in and out.

Air conditioning and the fan in the bathroom are bit noisy that makes it hard to fell asleep, you might hear voices from nex room including snores... Location of the hotel is 20 min walk from Annemasse Train Station where is also town center. So be prepared to walk or use 2 steps to reach Geneva Bus+Train

The staff was friendly and pleasant. Since we were 3 we asked for a bigger room and got it. The internet was good no need for a password.

the extra bed- the bunk bed was not ready. The sheet needed to be put, and I found discussing things under the mattress. We was in a "bigger" room but was in front of the entrance = noisy. Does not give you accor points. the light didn't turn off.

Good, basic hotel but every difficult to find

The afternoon staff member (who was there when I arrived and the next two afternoons) was EXTREMELY helpful. I was to leave on Tuesday but I had heard about transportation "perturbations" on the television (in France) and was not sure how it might affect my train journey back to Geneva. He called the train's customer service and got the answer for me and also printed my luggage tag for a subsequent bus journey. Arriving at the hotel was the WORST thing about the hotel. Breakfast was very acceptable and hotel was good for the price I paid. Internet worked well but there were NO English language channels.

The location of this hotel is VERY confusing and it is hard to find. I was on foot, having taken the Bus #5 from the Gare Annemasse and getting off at the Centre de Transfusion (about an 8 minute journey), as I had been advised by the Transport Office at the Gare. However, from there, directions were nonexistent and I saw no signs for the hotel in any direction. (To be fair, there WERE several signs (which I saw much later) but they were very small and not in easily seen places!). To anyone who may be contemplating booking this hotel, write these instructions down! After exiting the bus at the Centre de Transfusion bus stop, cross the street--in a marked pedestrian crossing--to the Bus #5 stop for a return to the city. From there, walk DOWN the hill in the direction of the round-a-bout near the Burger King. When you come to the divided highway (the first opportunity to cross a street in that direction) turn right and follow the sidewalk down hill. This is the Route de Thonon (also route D1206) shown on the google maps which show the location of the hotel. Walk until you see signs for the rental cars and if you look really hard, you may see the small sign for the Budget Ibis and, if you look right, you may be able to see the Hotel itself. Turn right immediately after walking past the rental cars and follow the road up the hill and take the first right toward the hotel. Good luck. The hotel does NOT sit directly on the street--it is behind a couple of other businesses.
