It was the perfect holiday!

The accommodation is marvellous and the owners are very friendly. Our flight was delayed and they kindly let us in very late at night. Also, I was amazed by this very authentic and cosy family farm with a true vibe and breathtaking local and peaceful environment.

A nice, relaxed stay. Perfect for a few days out of the city.

The rooms were clean and tidy, although more pillows could have been useful. Breakfast was good, a wide variety of cakes, with fresh ricotta and yoghurts available.

We ate in their "restaurant" one evening, for which there was no menu, however the owner did ask us that morning what we would prefer between 2 choices. The food was good, with wine, however when we checked out, the cost of the meal was quite expensive, considering that there was limited choice, and the food was local and there would have been no need to transport any of the ingredients. If they decided to not open the kitchen to cook in the evening, it was quite a drive to the nearest village/town for a meal.

Great place and great meals for a very pleasant stay! Recommended!

We had a very relaxing stay at Poggio Mario. Claudia and Laura were great hosts, very kind and always ready to make us happy! The room was a good size and the bed comfy. We had dinner there both nights and were very satisfied witht the service and food offered: great home-made meals, very tasty and satisfactory. The home-made Morellino wine was perfect too!

The little fridge in the room, dispite being new, could have worked a bit better as it took very long to chill water, but with the heat of those days it did not surprise us! Everythign else was above expectations!

Although place looks amazing, with nice rooms and good view but service was really bad.

Farm is located 8 km from nearest city and when we arrived in the evening and ask for tea our request was completely rejected. After i said we have tea bags with us the owner agreed to give us water. Is this Italian hospitality??? There were not a lot of guest and for breakfast were proposed a lot of cakes which the owner served every day the same and of course not fresh. We really left hungry because it was nothing to eat except those cakes. I don't recommend for international tourist to visit this place because no one is speaking English there

Great agritourism to relax

Beautiful and quiet agritourism surronded by nature with a nice swimming pool to relax. If you get from North only the last kilometer of the road is not paved, but in good conditions, you only need to pay attention to the final rise that is slightly rough. The rooms are located in front of a nice garden with sun beds and a wonderful view on the surrounding hills. Very friendly owner and great breakfast with many homemade products (cakes, jams and fresh ricotta) and other things.

Cercavamo relax e buon cibo e abbiamo trovato il massimo che volevamo.

Il posto é molto bello, tra le magnifiche colline di campi coltivati e molto vicino a Saturnia. La camera è molto grande e ben ristrutturata. La proprietaria bravissima in cucina e molto affettuosa, é stato un piacere mangiare le squisite pietanze che ha preparato e parlare con lei e con il marito, che non si chiama Mario😀

É un'azienda agraria con animali e campi da lavorare. Lavorano in tre persone e sono bravissimi a gestire anche l'agriturismo. Se proprio dovessi consigliare di migliorare qualcosa, direi di sistemare un pò meglio la zona vicino alle stalle, dove ci sono un po' di cose abbandonate e arrugginite..ma capisco che con tanto lavoro, non ce la fanno a stare dietro a tutto

Accoglienza e gentilezza delle proprietarie: piacevolissime. Posizione e condizioni generali della struttura. Panorama incantevole. Ambiente accogliente e curato.

Ci sono due tipologie di camere, di quelle nel seminterrato l’unica apertura è la porta d’ingresso e c’è uno scalino a scendere per il bagno che risulta un inciampo al buio. Potrebbe essere sostituito il materasso scomodo. Per quanto buona e fatta in casa, a colazione potrebbe essere aggiunta nel buffet una proposta salata.

UN VERO AGRITURISMO

E' un vero agriturismo, con campi coltivati, animali da cortile, mucche e pecore all aria aperta. Sembra di essere tornati indietro nel tempo. Il paesaggio e la veduta circostante,sulle colline maremmane attorno a Saturnia, sono una meraviglia. La colazione del mattino, torte e dolci fatti in casa con prodotti del territorio.

Atmosfera familiare,stanza pulita e silenziosa con ottima colazione .Struttura immersa nelle campagne Toscane con vista stupenda. Persone gentili che ci hanno dato ottimi suggerimenti.

Antistress in mezzo alla natura vera accompagnati solo dal cinguettio di varie specie di uccelli .

Colazione genuina con torte fatte in casa . Ricotta freschissima. Tanti animali proprio come in ua fattoria. Claudia e Laura sempre disponibili a fare due chiacchiere e a dare consigli. Le cene proposte sono a km 0 buonissime e abbondanti. 👍

Il vero agriturismo per eccellenza

L’autenticità, sotto tutti i punti di vista: autenticità dell’antico casale ristrutturato, autenticità delle persone che ti accolgono e ti fanno sentire uno di famiglia. Il silenzio e la tranquillità che contraddistinguono questo posto. La pulizia impeccabile delle camere. La cucina (colazione e cena), veramente strepitosa, con prodotti fatti in casa oppure freschi del luogo. Impossibile andarsene senza promettersi di ritornare presto!

Struttura immersa nella Maremma Toscana , chi cerca tranquillità è sicuramente il posto giusto !!! Chi ama gli animali si innamorerà della cagnolona Neve super dolce , dei cattino dolcissimi !! Noi ogni giorno passavamo ore a giocarci e tenerli in braccio !! Ma non dimenticare i proprietari , gentili accoglienti molto disponibili !! Fermatevi lì a cena non cene pentirete , complimenti per averci dato questa splendida esperienza

Soggiorno indimenticabile!

Weekend all’insegna del totale relax. Laura e sua figlia Claudia ci hanno accolti con dolcezza, gentilezza ed entusiasmo facendoci sentire sin da subito come a casa. La stanza era molto ampia e pulita con un bel bagno. Una sera in cui eravamo particolarmente stanchi abbiamo deciso di cenare presso l’agriturismo ed io e mio marito siamo rimasti entusiasti dei buonissimi piatti che ci hanno proposto Laura e Claudia per non parlare poi delle ottime colazioni con le spettacolari torte fatte a mano sia normali che in versione senza glutine ( io sono celiaca). Tutto perfetto grazie ancora. Alla prossima!
