The owner asked me to pay bill cash only

I didn’t like that I have to ride with a bus and then the train for an hour to get to super Market. Make no sense. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere

Light smell of smoking throughout the hotel, but not in the room. Bathroom too dimly lit to my liking.

It was very quiet place . Free "Hoog schwarzwald card" is very useful and saving many costs.

Bed was comfortable for good sleep. Heating in the room was very good.

Breakfast is basic and always the same , but enough for a power-shot for the start up of the day. :-) Can't pay with any card and only cash, but there is ATM in village close to Falkau (in Sparkasse office) In the weekend too much traffic jams to access Feldberg ski zone . A lot of time loosed :-(

The location of the lodging was excellent. It was in a little village and had its own ski slope. There was great hiking near the lodge. The owner and his wife were wonderful people, and the bar/restaurant were very nice as well.

Het ontbijt was voldoende, wat meer keuze zoals, fruitsla ,yoghurt en assortiment ontbijtkoeken of gewoon brood zou het helemaal afmaken. wij zijn zeer tevreden over de algemeen ontvangst , je voelt je er direct thuis de uitbaters zijn zeer gezellige mensen, wij gaan zeker nog terug !!!

Die Wirtsleute waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Gute Parkmöglichkeit vor der Unterkunft.

Das Frühstück hätte etwas umfangreicher sein können. War aber ausreichhend.

Wir waren von Anfang an wie zuhause und kommen gerne wieder! Frühstück reichhaltig keine Wünsche offen, Abendessen a la Carte sehr lecker und Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung. Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber und Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung.

- sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber - Parkplätze direkt vor Eingangstür - Haltestelle für Ski-Bus (nach Feldberg) nur 300 Meter entfernt

- in den Zimmern leichtes Zigarettengeruch. - Die Zimmer sind hellhörig - Frühstück ziemlich einfach. Restaurant hat keine feste Öffnungszeiten - nur Barzahlung möglich (Hotelzimmer, Restaurant). Der nächste Geldautomat > 10km entfernt
