Seems to be doing great business - but does need an upgrade

This is an old-fashioned hotel, well situated in the town centre. The rooms have a certain charm although the wallpaper was coming off in ours and the décor looked as if it was only just post war, no matter what the brochure says. The shower door came off unless you hung on to it. But it was clean. Breakfast was unexciting but did include a toasted sandwich that suddenly landed on our table. The thing that made the stay worthwhile was the excellent man on Reception when we arrived late afternoon. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, giving us advice on what to visit and where to go.

Very Friendly Staff, Great Location!

I have stayed in Many hotels in Komotini and although all the hotels have really friendly staff, I thought that the staff at this hotel were the friendliest! The room was cozy and the location was great. There were always clean towels and the room was cleaned regularly. Looking forward to staying again!

A very friendly hotel in the middle in of the city

Very good positioned, close to the city center, the personell very kind and helpful. They were waiting for us with a parking place ready. Elevator available to get to the top floor, reception 24h. Good advices and very friendly receptionists. TV and wifi very good.

The bathroom light was broken (the neon had a problem that you could only fix by moving it after you'd dismatle the cover..they said they'll fix it). The bed is not very big (let's say normal size) and the street (outisde) is pretty loud for a sensitive sleeper in the morning. At night, after 00:00, the traffic is pretty much gone. I had no problem with the sounds, but my partner did.

Very old facilities, old room doors, broken shower cabin door. Dirty and bad smelling towels. Very small rooms. Uncomfortable and old bed. Broken water closet. Everything is ancient. Staying at this hotel is dangerous for health. False 8.6 score at booking.com Doesn't deserve any star at all.
