As a one night's sleep it was adequate allowing us to visits sites we wanted.

The overall look of the apartments was satisfactory to the extent that one expects from a 3-star room, it was clean almost on the sea front close to beach bars and cafes. The room need a face lift for next season with fixtures needing maintenance. We did not see anyone all was done on the phone and electronically. Nevertheless, the person we spoke to was very polite and helpful stressing that any time we needed something just call.

The hotel was a good 15 to 20 minute drive to city center which did not help much. Being an apartment there is no one to ask immediate question, despite that across the street there is a coffee place and a kiosk and you get what you need from them. Of course if you are on summer vacation it is good as it is a short walk to the beach for us it was a little far from the city.

DON'T VISIT THIS

The location

I told them about three months ago that I am going to travel from Scotland to Alexandroupolis with my six months old baby. Regardless, they didn't even bother to change the sheets from the summer. I had to shake the sheets off the window trying to get rid some of the dust. Although I Informed them that my plans have changed and my cousin will join us, regardless, they didn't even bother to have an extra pair of sheets for him. They had a portable bed and a dirty duvet without a cover. Disgrace. The towels were smelling mold and they had hair on them. The windows were so dirty that we had had to open then just to see the down. I don't even want to mention about the reels 🤢 So dirty hitting... Contaminated air... The floor seemed like Never been sweeped..... And the worse was a huge green boogie above the bed ..... PLEASE DON'T VISIT THIS PLACE! IT'S A LIFE HAZARD!!!

Everything was very nice at the hotel, only the furniture in the room was a little old. In addition, the air conditioner was a little too dusty and I couldn't turn it on.

Very nice hotel for short visits.

Everything about the room was pretty good. It was clean and convenient. You can go down to the center with a 20-25-minute walk. 5 minutes by car. There is a parking lot, the sea and the beach in front of it were very beautiful. There is a big market where you can find everything right across the street.

We were thinking what a quiet and peaceful hotel, but we had a hard time sleeping with the incredibly loud parties on the beach that lasted until 6 am.

Great location right on the beach ,clean room on arrival ,free parking. Supermarket opposite.

11th of May 2023 ,3 night stay:Bathroom rather cramped, no restaurant / snack bar coffee bar, no reception, you had to travel for restaurant/drinks ,we arrived at 5pm, and had to collect keys from a lock box, no staff present during our stay. room was cold with the heating off and when on the heating was very noisy, also masses of dust in the air from the heating, this was surprisingly noisy from traffic, people in the corridor, and children in the kids club below, the only provision for hot drinks was a kettle and mugs.Room was very basic but ok for the stay. this would be improved by a microwave oven in the room .

Good for short vacation

Cosy room. Good location, near by city center and at sea side. The was a very useful little kitchen, a mini-fridge, a garden de robe, a stand for luggages and TV. The bed was big enough. The staff was so helpful and kind.

The bathroom was very small. The sink was miniature and incommodious. The air conditioner was too big for the room and too loud.

Nice place to stay out of the city, on the beach.

The apartments are located very close to the sea - the beach is about 50 meters from the hotel. There is no roads to cross while you are going to the beach from the hotel, so it is a good place to stay for a summer holiday. The hotel is located out of Alexandroupolis, and a distance to the city center is about 3 km. Also, the apartments have a free parking. Lidl supermarket is very close, about 100 m. The owner is a very nice guy, always open to help. Write to him at any time, and you will give an answer in few minutes.

3 km distance from the city, but it depends what is a target of your trip - to stay in the city or relax on the beach.

Quiet and clean.

It’s place is gorgeous near the sea side. We arrived lately but owner (he’s very kind btw) left the key locked for us. The room was very clean and everything was in place. We parked our car with no problem. There was extra bed for our children and we slept like babies in quiet night. Thanks for everything. I’m willing to stay there again.

One beautiful night at Via Mare.

Extremely clean and tidy. I literally slept like a baby. The venue is located very near to the beach. We was really pleased to spend our night there.

Just one minor point. I've had no space to use the bathroom sink because of glass shelf.
