Fantastic host, felt very welcomed.
The host was exceptional. He was very accommodating. We were traveling on motorcycle and were offered the small garage to park our bikes in. We liked it so much that we actually extended our stay.

Final Tour (it won't be though I just chose that)
The hotel is nestled in Forbach just off the 249 road (bikers if you know, you know), I had a single room with breakfast. The hotel was immaculate and the hosts were amazing!!!. I arrived and was shown to the garage for secure parking. I was shown to my single room (single bed, lovely furnishings, on suite and a TV. WiFi was accessed free of charge. I was then shown the hotel amenities, free coffee or tea making facilities, honesty bar (a large beer at €3.50 a bargain) wines, waters, pop etc. also there was a range of snacks all competitive pricing as well. The room was class, well attained and appointed. I paid for breakfast as well, fresh rolls, eggs, scrambled eggs, cereals, yogurts, fruit, tea and coffee, water and orange juice (fresh). The hosts were amazing(I can't stress that enough, anything is no trouble) - (top tip, if you want to hire their VW camper van on your travels at €90 a day it's a must). Anyway one overnight stay was excellent in every way. If your exploring the Black forest with the intent to ride a motorbike or walk or ride a push bike - come here you won't be disappointed.

The best value proposition in the region
Considering its size and location, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I was quickly welcomed and attended to by friendly and attentive staff. Everything was well organized: check-in, parking, breakfast, and check-out. My room was quiet and clean, and everything worked perfectly. As advertised, I was able to charge my electric motorcycle using a Type 2 connector in the early evening.
The only thing I would have liked to see different was the bed, which was rather small compared to what I'm used to.

Ideal for walkers and bikers
Super friendly hosts (you really feel at home), a perfect breakfast and an exceptional diner (when available). Sleeping at this hotel/guesthouse was very relaxing as the nearby river gave a soothing sound.
Finding restaurants in the immediate vicinity when no dinner was served. We needed to drive approximately 15km to have some available ones, but it could be the time of the year (April) of course.

Lovely as always
This is one of our regular and favourite places to stay. The environment, the silence, scents and birdsong from the outside calm us down. We sit on the balcony, sleep with the window open, enjoy the hikes around. The staff are lovely, we always leave with a smile on our faces. Rooms extremely clean. High quality breakfast, something nice for everyone (even vegan & gluten-free!).
They could maybe invest in new pillows.

I can highly recommend visiting Forbach and staying in this hotel.
The hotel is in a nice location (quiet, lovely) in a beautiful town. It has a nice dining room, and I highly recommend the dinners they serve several days per week. The cooking was delicious! The room included a very nice breakfast buffet with delicious breads, eggs, meat, cheese, and cereals. My room was simple and sparkling clean. I had booked a single room, but they gave me a double room since it was available and they said the location would be quieter. The owners are a very kind couple and very talented hosts.
I could hear my neighbor’s bathroom noises in my room.
