The breakfast, the pool, the kind staff, and the kayak in the river.

The rooms are a little dated, and not well lit. The property is spread out horizontally, some rooms are very far from the front desk.

I had a great stay here. The breakfast was great and had variety. The option for lunch and dinner were fair priced. The hotel had so many amenities such as a sauna, gym, massage services, three different pools, ability to rent kayaks for free, etc. my room was a little cabin and it was very spacious, clean and pretty. The only thing I found odd was that the beds don’t come with a top blanket. You have to ask reception for blankets. I was also very thankful that they let me shower after check out when I came back from a tour so I wouldn’t go to the airport sweaty. The property is beautiful and very tranquil. If you want to get away from everything and everyone, this is the place to be.

The resort itself is far away from the “Centro” or downtown of Barreirinhas. It would take 30min to walk there or take a cab. I tried all the taxi apps and they didn’t work. There is no uber there. I also found it strange that the hotel states “it’s tourist friendly” and i don’t disagree, however, there was only one person who spoke English and she spoke the same amount as I know Portuguese, which is very little.

The best hotel to stay in the area. The resort offers live music events, game and relaxation areas where you can enjoy your time. The food is delicious, and the breakfast selection is quite good.

The staff generally don’t speak English, so communication can be a bit difficult. Room rates are quite high compared to the services offered.
