20 minutes from naousa in a small village of metamorfosi you will find a very friendly couple that will make you feel not staying in a hotel but at a friends house. Mrs Lydia and Mr Sakis are the owners of the hotel and will wake up 5am to make you a homemade breakfast with a different pie each day, fresh eggs, homemade marmalade and a just got out of the oven home made bread and some fruits and every day a different homemade cake... Don't expect a breakfast like a 5 star hotel with a buffet and a huge variety... They could have that but the concept is different... The rooms where clean with everyday service and worm enough like it should... Mr. Sakis will give you all the secret roads to visit different places that you will cut 20-30 minutes of your time...!
Because we have kids I would love to have blackout curtains so they don't wake up 8 in the morning from the sun making our room bright enough to wake them!! It does have curtains but still the light can go through them...

Our stay at Lydia Lithos Mountain Resort was simply amazing.
The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly placed in nature – a true mountain retreat.
What made this place truly special, though, were the owners. The lady owner and her husband are incredibly kind, warm, and genuine people. She speaks several languages, is extremely polite, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. They even gave us wood for the wooden stove, so we could enjoy a cozy evening together by the fire – a gesture we will never forget.
The breakfast was outstanding – all homemade, fresh, and prepared with love. Even though I was fasting, she always made sure there was something suitable for me, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations every single morning. As a beautiful final touch, I was gifted a small jar of homemade mirabelle & apricot marmalade, which says everything about the care and heart behind this place.
The resort itself is beautiful, well maintained, and perfectly integrated into its natural surroundings. Everything feels authentic, calm, and welcoming.
I strongly recommend Lydia Lithos Mountain Resort to everyone who values nature, peace, and true hospitality.
We will definitely come back.
Thank you for everything.
What I didn’t like:
Honestly, it was too easy to feel at home and too hard to leave. Time passes differently in such a peaceful place, and once you experience this level of warmth, care, and authenticity, everything else feels a bit rushed in comparison. The only downside is that you immediately start planning your next visit.

Lydia's mountain resort is located at a very nice place at the edge of the very small village. The area is beautiful and surrounded with nature. Lydia is very nice and forthcoming, making you feel welcome. The taverna next door is also really good with a nice owner, good food and nice atmosphere. We can fully recommend the stay there.
It was quite cold in the shared room, which did not make it very comfortable to stay for a long time. We expected a bigger room for the price.

Lydia and her husband are very hospitable, friendly and accommodating. They gave us info about places to visit, were very understanding of our fearful dog and would prepare an amazing homemade breakfast with Lydia 's amazing strawberry jam. There are waterfalls nearby (2.5 km) worth walking there(can go by car too) and enjoying the view and the fresh air. Perfect place if you want to just relax!! Close to other areas worth exploring (waterfalls, forests)

The place is a hidden paradise on earth! Perfect room, with a fireplace which was ready, waiting for us when we arrived, homemade breakfast made by Mrs Lydia like pies and eggs, fresh fruits and orange juice. Her husband drove us to a beautiful waterfall near the hotel and last but not least...the view...from our room..that dawn! No words you have to see it by yourself...I have uploaded a photo to take a glimpse but you have to wake up early and watch THE view... and you won't regret it!
