Great location and nice owners

Was fine overall. We were a bit early and the owners were not there when we arrived, but had provided information which made it easy for us to get access to our room. We met Nick the following morning, and his English is completely fluent, so you need have no concerns if you are not good with French. He apologised for the restaurant being unavailable at the time we stayed, but we'd been aware of that in advance and it wasn't a great problem for us. He provided recommendations for where to get breakfast. We were able to park on the Place Duguesclin car park right next to the hotel, so didn't have far to wheel our suitcases. The location is very good. The room was fine: it faced the back of the hotel so didn't have a great view but was quiet.

There is no lift, and therefore we had to lug cases over two flights of stairs, but at least that had to be done only on arrival and departure. The shower curtain drapes a bit on in the cubicle and the sloping platform next to it, but was OK and the shower itself was fine. We needed help to access the wifi but that was otherwise fine.

A fantatstic stay and very central for the ast day our our French adventure

The hosts were fantastic. Lovely, welcoming and very helpful. They took over the hotel last year and are working very hard to retain the authentic character and to bring that back to the bedrooms. The rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable with good showers and the location couldn't be better for see the historic town. Fantastic value. We stayed one night and our schedule didn't eave time for breakfast or dinner but I heard other guests say the food was excellent.

Nothing worth mentioning really - personally prefer a bed-side lamp for reading than an overhead light if I'm sharing a room but that's just a personal thing. The hosts are working on making the rooms more decorative and suggestive of the hotel history but they were absolutely spotless which mattered more in my mind.

Lovely small, friendly hotel with great food that wasn't over complicated. Definitely a winner.

It was a wonderful find. Right in the centre of Dinan and so close to the historic centre of the town. Although there is no parking specifically for the hotel there is a public car park just across the road which is very reasonable. The owner Christof was really friendly and couldn't have been more helpful and he is also an excellent chef. We will definitely return.

The shower curtain was a bit lightweight and there was no rubbish bin for tissues etc in the bathroom. Very minor and did not detract from our stay.

Cute stay in medieval town

Absolutely lovely stay. Family room is large (its 2 double beds and a single bed in one bedroom and an other double bedroom), location is perfect to explore the old town and easy for parking. Breakfast was delicious and the host Christoff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Waited around for entrance. Expensive parking very outdated acomadation. Double bed very unstable and unconfortable... Shower dangerous as I high step and no mitigeron tap children could seriously burn themselves with the hot water.. Toilet door leaves lot to be desired. Kept awake most of night by non insulated water drains. Every time some one used wc or showed or even washed their hands. No sound proofing

The host was amazing and very helpful. We had 2 bicycles and he offered to keep them inside safely for the night. The room was spacious with everything you could need. It's been recently redecorated and look nice. The location was great too, 2min from the main old town, very handy.

Christophe was a fantastic host and got us a booking for a wonderful meal in the hotel restaurant. Paid parking immediatley in front of hotel and secure for overnight stays. Great jump off point for cycling the canal

Good budget hotel

The hotel was value for money and the owners were lovely. The location was great, with a public car park immediately opposite. Breakfast was very good, well worth taking each day (something we don’t always find!) The property was a little tired but clean, with a very comfortable bed and bedding.

Our room was somewhat cramped and stuffy as the window only opened a couple of centimetres.
