DAB Guest House

The hosts were very friendly and exceedingly helpful, and we felt very welcomed. The apartment was cozy and the shared kitchen and breakfast area were lovely. The breakfast was simple but all that was needed, with a wide array of juices, coffees, teas, pastries and condiments. It was a nice luxury to have coffee and tea throughout the day. The rooms were a good size and the decoration was quite lovely and funky. While you can hear noises from the room, it is as expected in an older city building and not bad at all. The location is great, away from the crowds but a quick walk or bus to most locations.

The rooms needs a little TLC. Our toilet panel was not properly attached and kept malfunctioning, though the host did try to have a look while we were there. The main problem was a musty drain smell in the room, which we did note to the host, especially after a shower, and it did permeate the room often, so we had to keep the bathroom fan on continuously.

Very clean and well kept.

The location. Way too north for me.

Check in was super simple, Giorgio is very nice and attentive. We appreciated that the flat had an AC, and it was really comfy.

It is not really possible to cook, the kitchen is rather available to enjoy the breakfast that Giorgio prepares and make yourself some tea/coffee, but more is not possible

Friendly staff, nice makeover of old apartments in up to date accomodation. Coffee always available in a kitchen available for everybody in the house.

Valid only for room #7: toilet has a sliding door (barn door) poorly set up, very hard to move, didn't closed well; fans in shower and toilet didn't worked; shower had no door (by design), one of the two sinks didn't flowed out the water fast enough letting the water level in the sink to increase quickly; decorations of the main door were falling. Poor internet (important for turists outside EU). Neighbourhood not very apealing.
