The place was not worth the money.

The beach was nice.

The room was very old, the bathroom shower didnt have a glass door anymore, the water was all over the floor. It all looked like it was built 20 years ago & neber retouched again.

Disappointed

The pool area was very nice, good size pool and very clean.

The rooms were very dated and furnished cheaply, with poor quality furniture. Turning over in bed was noisy as the bed was poor quality, we thought it may break. The overall feel was that this was a 3 star hotel at best, reception seemed quite un organised, breakfast was basic. We will not recommend or return.

The pool areas where nice and on to the beach, front desk staff were wonderful

The lobby and hotel was…ok. clean but dated. The staff at breakfast seemed bored or uninterested. Breakfast was extensive! The food sits out under lamps for some time so hot food gets dry and hard but there is lots of options. the front staff were great and the housekeeping team. Its was slow and seemed as though the team were very ready to be done for the season. Non of the pools are heated so the suit pools that don’t get much sun are a cold plunge! The other pools were quite cold as well the ocean was warmer. They removed all the beach cushions as it rained and they never went back, many people were sitting on the wood beads instead. The spa is a room that gets used and they call Someone in to use it when needed, not a true spa. the hot-tub and sauna are an extra charge, we didn’t know that and haven’t seen that before …therefor didn’t use them. The feeling overall that we came up with was …weird. In the very peak of summer this may be an awesome option.

Nice Beach Hotel

Right on Plaka Beach, clean rooms, very nice staff, complimentary pickup and dropoff at the ferry port, two pools with lots of sun beds and umbrellas, close to restaurants and bus stop, good breakfast. Charming, unpretentious town.

Bed linens are a bit dingy and could be replaced, at least one bottle of water should be provided each day since water is not drinkable, and breakfast hot items could be warmer.

A good stay on a great beach

We had a nice big room with a private pool. No issues with the room, it’s renovated, with some Greek design features, the bed was comfortable, a cleaning team made their job perfectly. The hotel is about 150 m from the best beach on the island and one of the best in Europe. You can also find some nice restaurants in 10 min walking distance. The only minus of the location is the road - it’s parallel to the beach, quite busy and flying sand can disturb you while walking.

The breakfast could have been better. The choice is good, but products quality - not that good. Sometimes WiFi operated to slow

Perfect little hotel for great escape

We liked absolutely everything. The room was very clean, nicely decorated with nice view from the terrace. We didn’t use pool but it looked spotless and very beautiful. The breakfast choice was good, we even tried the restaurant - excellent experience. Taxi drive from the airport to hotel and vice versa is provided for free, very nice receptionist organised everything flawlessly. We specially loved the beach, excellent service, yes you pay some consumption fees for use of sun beds, but we would anyway order food and drinks as we spent days on the beach.

Our otherwise unforgettable perfect restaurant experience was spoiled by noisy guests who came to sit exactly next to our table bringing their own food and drinks (yes! unbelievably rude) but as being hotel guests, professional staff couldn’t interfere. If we have to be really picky, jacuzzi wasn’t very helpful as it was overfilled with water and overflowed as we entered and flooded terrace below, so we never used it again.

Soooo relaxing! Perfect beach getaway in quiet and beautiful naxos.

The rooms were very clean- the staff and service was exceptional- the property is located directly across the most beautiful beach. Facilities were clean and comfortable with regular service checks by staff. They were also so kind to allow us very early check in at no cost along with breakfast on our first day of arrival. Many pools to choose from along with a full restaurant and pool bar. The hotel is located along a strip of many other hotels and restaurants so you don't have to leave the street if you don't want to.

The breakfast options were not the best but they did have a wide selection.

Beautiful property and very clean!

Very beautiful property! Rooms very spacious and clean. Beautiful big pool with also a very sweet small pool for kids! Pool was extremely clean! The location was great. Direct access to the beach. Sunbeds available but with a minimum consumption at the bar of 30€. Beautiful beach and very nice seaside. Around the property so many restaurants with very delicious food!

We had a small accident with one of the staff members when he asked our consumption to be only at the beach. Apparently for him was not sufficient to spend the money at the bar even though the food and drinks where coming from that bar. But having two small children was more convenient for us to eat properly at the bar and not in the sand. I went to the reception to ask for more clarity and they were extremely helpful and solved the issue immediately! So still very try positive experience after all!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Our stay at the Aegean Palace was exceptional! The location is ideal – steps from a beautiful sandy beach with crystal-clear water and a very convenient, gentle entry. Highlights: Incredibly Friendly Staff: Truly welcoming and helpful. They surprised us with a lovely room upgrade to a suite! Superb Pool Area: clean, relaxing and perfect for ordering refreshing drinks. Beach Bliss: The stunning sea and sandy shore are right there. Beach service was top-notch (drinks/food). Sunbeds cost €20-€40 per pair. Great Dining Options: Surrounded by many restaurants, and the hotel offered valuable discounts to some! Easy Exploration:The bus stop right by the hotel made frequent trips to Naxos Town easy (approx. 25 mins). Highly recommend the Aegean Palace for a relaxing, well-served beach holiday in Naxos!

Below expectations, never to be repeated.

The room was nice.

Breakfast selection was extremely poor - felt like a low budget hostel. What was included in the breakfast shouldn’t be allowed to be called coffee. One needed to then pay for coffee from proper machine. Front office staff were friendly enough, service and attitude of rest of the staff was poor. So many people present, but not many people interested in actually working it seems.

Private pool room not worth it

Location is good if you just want to visit the beach. It's a quick walk from the beach road and close to restaurants.

Definitely didn't need to book the room with the private pool. It was not worth the money. The rooms with the pool face the road so there's no view and you're on display to everyone coming in and out of the hotel. Breakfast is included but selection wasn't great so we skipped after the first day.

Wonderful stay!

Basic, but clean room for a family of three. We had a view of the pool and could see the beach. Short walk to the beach from hotel. Breakfast/restaurant was great. All staff is friendly and helpful. Many restaurants in the area and there’s a bus stop close by to take into Naxos Town.

Only complaint was the bed as it was a very hard/firm mattress.

Very nice and beautiful place...

The facilities and the personnel are excellent at this place. The position, quite close to the beach and at a walkable distance from a very nice boat tour and with many nice restaurants around. Really good.

The breakfast.. It is quite complete, but nothing is homemade. Juice comes in boxes, the little cakes are beautiful but not great.. The omelette was a bit weird. Nothing was bad, but not very tasty... The coffee machine is a quite bad one (again, coffee from powder, I think).

The breakfast was excellent, the rooms are spotless, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. A truly delightful stay!

Disappointing Experience – Definitely Not Worth the Price

Vicinity to the beach

We stayed at Aegean Palace expecting a relaxing and luxurious experience, especially considering we paid €250 per night. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we anticipated. The most alarming and unacceptable incident was a housekeeping staff member barging into our room at 6 AM without knocking. We were asleep at the time, and it was a terrifying and deeply unsettling experience. There is absolutely no excuse for entering a guest’s room that early without prior notice or at least knocking. It left us feeling unsafe and disrespected. Aside from that, the hotel itself felt overrated and overpriced. We booked a room with a private pool, but the view was of the parking lot, and the area was far from private – anyone passing by could see directly into our space, which defeated the purpose entirely. Also, despite staying at the hotel, sunbeds on the beach were not complimentary for guests – something I would have expected to be included at this price point. I could have overlooked the lack of privacy or the extra charges for sunbeds, but someone walking into our room unannounced at 6 AM is simply unforgivable. I would strongly advise others to reconsider staying here, especially if you're looking for a peaceful, private, and well-managed experience.

Amazing and refreshing stay on the beautiful Naxos

Amazing location, right on the Plaka next to all the restaurants and there is a bus that goes from right outside the hotel into the town. Room was cleaned everyday and beds were super comfortable. Also loved the little balcony outside the room for chilling in the evening. Staff were lovely and really helpful. Vangellis helped us with a car rental that was brought right to the hotel for us and also gave us loads of local tips on where to visit. Ervin and Ileus were also amazing throughout our stay and we never wanted for anything. Great stay and will definitely be back!

Very nice hotel at the best location in Naxos. Gorgeous beach bars all around the place and perfect places to swim. The rooms were clean and the outdoor patio was really amazing to have a drink etc. also, the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a Greek hotel. loads of options and differen every day.

I would stay again there

The location which was close to the beach but also near restaurants and bars. Frequent public transport to main town even though i had my own means of transport. Friendly staff willing to accommodate requests and late check-out which was a bonus.

Some minor issues with the condition of the room requiring more attention in order to be 100% for example the toilet seat was broken.

Cozy and comfortable hotel, just a few meters from Plaka beach

Location is excellent, just a few meters from the beautiful Plaka beach. The hotel is just 10 minutes from the airport by taxi, while there is a bus stop very close which can get you to Naxos city quite easily. There are also a few restaurants and a couple of mini markets within walking distance. The hotel itself is pretty, with cozy and nicely-designed room interiors. The staff was very friendly, cheerful, and always helpful. The breakfast was great, with a good variety of healthy and other options, along with a decent coffee machine.

A minimum consumption per parasol is expected at the beach bar, even for hotel guests. The gym is totally outdated and neglected. The treadmill and bicycle were not fully operational, and all other equipment was minimal. Surprisingly, their was no "Do not disturb" door tag available in the room.

Convenient property on the beach that could be much better with small adjustments

Overall, it’s a nice property, right on the beach and with multiple pools and bars, restaurants all close by, it’s a nice place to relax at. The beach staff is really friendly and hardworking.

With small adjustments, it could be much much better. First of all, the welcoming staff in the main structure felt a little cold, not as welcoming as others found on other islands. For example, we asked about possible activities and places to visit and the first answer was “There is nothing to do”, which is not really the best… Luckily, the next day there was a younger girl and she helped with a map, suggestions and directions. The room was clean, but for some reason it smelled like a place that was always kept closed off, opening the windows helped but every time we closed them after just a few hours the smell came back. The closets and drawers were dirty and smelly, impossible to use. The bathroom needs renovation, water was always leaking when taking a shower even if it was a bathtub.

Great staff, food, location and setting!

The pool, sun lounges, and buffet breakfast were amazing. My room includes a small jacuzzi on the balcony over looking the pool which was very luxurious. The bed was comfy and the TV allowed you to sign into your own Netflix / Prime accounts for those times when you just needed to chill. Location on Plaka beach was fantastic for me to access the restaurants and beaches I wanted. There was a bus stop 200m from the hotel with a QR code that provides the information in English and timetables for those that want to explore more of the island without using a car / scooter. Free transfers to and from port were really appreciated.

I was very keen for a great workout in the gym but it was very basic. The cardio equipment is very outdated and only the bike worked well enough for use. The weights, kettle bells etc were adequate though. The shower in my room didn’t have great pressure through the rainfall shower head but the handheld shower head did and was more than adequate.

Did not like the cotton bed cover. Would have liked a coffee machine in the room. No washcloths. The sea bass dinner was overcooked and my friend’s dinner was not served hot.

Excellent place to stay by the beach in Naxos

All the staff at this hotel are super welcoming, professional and so friendly. They will help you with anything you need. The hotel is clean, quiet and very comfortable. The beachside location is perfect, with a bus to take you to city center. Would absolutely recommend, and we would definitely come back!

One thing to improve, would be the breakfast. It has a good selection of hot and cold dishes, but if you arrive after 09:30 it is very empty and they don’t refill very fast. We expressed this concern to staff to improve.
