Facilities were good in principal just needs updating!
Awful don’t go here. I usually look at reviews and then decide to make my own mind up however wish I had gone by the reviews. My girls contracted Norovirus second day into trip and were so poorly. I didn’t know if we would make our flight home and if they would be well enough to fly! Not nice to see your kids so poorly!
Cleanliness of hotel not great at all. Lots of people had the same experience but the hotel tried to brush under the carpet. Obviously the only bit of brushing done!! During shut down this hotel needs a massive deep clean. Could also do with a refurb as well. Looks like a 1960s Butlins holiday camp on arrival. The walls are so thin in the rooms I could hear the woman next door throwing up at 3am! We had kids banging on doors messing around and running off at 11pm waking everyone up. The food was pretty much the same everyday and there was nothing to protect it from the wasps or flies so contracting illness is so surprise really!
It’s a real shame because the facilities there could be good. Three pools and arcade with pool table for kids, close to the beach as well it’s just a shame they can’t get this spread of illness under control.
Remember that hotel from the Inbetweeners movie?? It’s worse than that! A three star on a good day!

Enjoyed the yoga and pilates classes. Nice to have the choice of beach or pool. Salad and pasta bar were great for lunch. Bar staff were friendly. Dinner was good but head to the second restaurant area ('French' side) it feels calmer.
Asked for rooms close together but they gave us rooms in different buildings. Some of the pools were too busy and water looked a bit murky.

Good food, great staff, big car park. Useful mini market & nice jewellery store on site.
Awful noisy entertainment every night. Could never sleep before 11.30pm. Loud music in every bar that reached all rooms. Stony, shallow & seaweed filled beach. Unpleasant. Would not come back

Food and cleanliness excellent. Waterslides, sports and the beach excellent.
Room especially the bathroom should look better for a 4 star hotel although it is functional.

Good food choice. Drinks were ok. Very busy during the day with loads of activities. Every evening there is a program. Good choice for families with children
Stayed in a bungalow and it had sewege smell coming in from the outside, so could not open any window or relax on the terrace. But you get that smell all over the island, as they have simillar sewege issues all over it

We got a free room upgrade with view of the river and super quiet. We didnt ask for the upgrade, i just wrote that i want a quiet room. The food was delicious and was a big variety. Its directtly at the beach with a lot of space for kids. Was generally quiet and the room very modern and clean. All people were super helpful and even ordered us ataxi to go to the airport. I have only positive things to say. I waa sceptical because of some bad reviews i read, but i saw that they were trying their best. The restaurant is even open from around 22:00 o clock until around 4:00 in the morning, information that i didnt know from the reception, so you can always get something to eat.

We stayed at this all-inclusive hotel in Corfu for 10 days in April and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was calm and not overcrowded, which made it easy to relax, but it still had plenty of fun and activities to enjoy.
The facilities were great, including outdoor gym and the on-site nightclub. The entertainment team really stood out: they were dedicated, enthusiastic, and clearly enjoyed what they were doing. The shows were fun, well-produced, and added a lovely touch to the evenings.
The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional, always smiling, kind, and attentive. It made a big difference to feel so well taken care of.
We loved spending time at the pools and the beach area. The water was crystal clear, and it was magical to swim alongside small fish.
Food-wise, there was a good variety throughout the day with snacks, treats, and ice cream available at all times. While the main meals could benefit from a more modern touch in terms of presentation and flavor, we never went hungry. Drinks were tasty and plentiful.
The hotel is also conveniently located, just about 20 minutes from the airport and within walking distance to local shops, restaurants, and bars. There's also a shop in the resort for essentials, snacks, and fun extras like inflatables.
The rooms we stayed in felt a bit dated and were on the smaller side, but they were clean, functional, and comfortable. The semi-transparent bathroom doors may not suit everyone’s taste. Also, the spa was unfortunately closed during our stay.
That said, the kids had an amazing time, and we all left with great memories. We'd happily return and recommend this hotel for a relaxing and fun holiday in Corfu!

The area is huge and absolutely green, like an oasis in the village. It is really well kept. Beach is so nice, big enough with lots of beds and clean. Gym is well equipped and organize pretty good classes. Food is fresh and various. Rooms are not too big but comfortable enough (we were in bungalows). Programmes and animators made fun. Highly recommended.
Rooms should be better equipped, more shelves for example, it was hard to take our stuff (with 2 children). Lines in the bars were long, the soda/water should be self-service.

Good variety of foods. Near the see and public transport.
Moldy room (we demanded to change the room), uncomfy beds, very small and broken shower.
6.0 / 10.0
The beach proximity, the friendliness of staff
The room smelled from the drains in the bathroom and sometimes it was terrible. It wasn’t very clean and the there was mold in the bathroom

It had everything you need, mini markets for shopping, food was delicious and most stuff really kind especially the hostess Eleni. The entertainment was very good.
Swimming pool and the beach kept clean and we loved having pizza and crepes anytime.
The rooms look a bit old dated and sounds from water pipes. Tv in our room hat to be programmed by a technician.

The view, the beach, the mini market, the pool, the waterslides, the restaurant near the beach.
The crowd, the indifferent staff, the main restaurant (crowded, unmade tables, etc.).

Everything was excellent, especially the food
I suggest the rooms to be cleaner.

The staff in the restaurant were very nice, good location, very clean. Good air conditioning in the room. Very nice Beach and pools, the room is good but small bathroom.
WiFi didn't work in riverside building, the parking is very far away from the entrance. There was no Air conditioning in the restaurant. Also the food is low quality, not enough options for vegetarians.
8.0 / 10.0
First of all the staff. Every single staff member went out of their way to say hello, ask how we were etc from the cleaners to the lifeguards.
Secondly the food, in particular the beachfront restaurant. We found the main food hall in the hotel crowded and neither as good food quality or half as busy/chilled as the beach front restaurant. Breakfast is the same every day but a good variety of cooked and cold food. Lunch and evening meal has a good variation of local foods and most were delicious. The local baklava was my wifes favourite! The dishes were constantly topped up and plates cleared quickly with staff once again smiling and friendly as they tidied away.
There was entertainment on every evening, the kids club and disco at 1930 each night a particular favourite of our kids. The animation team certainly earn their money with a variety of entertainment every day from morning till late at night, something for everyone from yoga to Greek night.
This hotel has a great balance of nice pools, right on the beachfront and I couldnt recommend enough for families.
It clearly states no reserving sunbeds however each night every single sunbed around the pools had towels on them and I mean at all 3 pools. By day 3 I was very tempted to take every towel and throw it in the pool as i couldnt get a sunbed or umberella for a family with 2 kids under 2!. If I was hotel manager I'd have my staff collect any towels on sunbeds by 8pm on a night and pile them in a corner. Sunbeds should be on a first come first serve basis daily. We went to the beach almost every day due to lack of sunbeds. The beach beds cost €6 a day which in an all inclusive is a first for us. The use of the slides is also an additional cost. Again, kind of eludes from the 'ALL' inclusive part of a hotel booking.
New Pillows, invest in new Pillows!!
Our room was cleaned once the whole time we were there, partly due to our kids needing a nap between 1-3pm when the cleaners came round. We asked if they could come earlier but we were told not possible which left our room in a sandy state by day 3.
HOT, the hotel dining room was unbelievably hot and uncomfortable during meal times. we sat watching managers attempt to alter the air con daily to no avail. Here's a tip, if you close the large window/doors to outside the aircon will keep the room cool. We had 2 kids under 2 and we had to sit with hand fans to keep them cool during meals.

we have 5 kids and they love it - we we’re staying near kids pool and they really enjoy.
all the animations program were most in French language and our kids didn’t understand! they have talk very little in English and that’s big minus!!! animators invited kids in English language but all the program was in French language- black point!

Messonghi beach exceeded our expectations as before we read some reviews complaining about food etc. Food was absolutely amazing, for example, every dinner food was different, plenty of choices, including delicious sea food. Breakfast and dinner was also very good, really tasty and delicious! Also during the day icecream is available which was one of the best icecreams we had ever eaten. Hotel itself is located in a good location - you can reach Corfu town by approx 45min by bus which goes every 15-30min. We came to the hotel from the airport by public bus in 1h. Beach is very nice, exactly in front of the beach. Hotel haa a very good massage salon, prices are reasonable (~30€ for 30min massage). Yoga, which was very good, every day. Evening entertainment very enjoyable, interesting and full of fun. Up to 23:00 it’s quite load but no problem at all as it is evening entertainment :) The staff very helpful. To sum it up, it’s more like a 4 star hotel, very good priced for what they offer. Definitely value for money. Recommended!

Bland,Luke warm. Some things only available in the other restaurant which may be exclusive to certain traveler's
The rooms were not the cleanest. Need updating. Terrible bed coverings. The shower enclosures are far too small; I’m not very big quite slim. So how a large person would manage in them I am unsure. and the pressure on the shower is far to great for the shower head that fly’s off the wall firing water everywhere.
Shower tray leaks so bad it flooded our room. Used around 15 towels to clean up the floor.
We moved rooms but it contained the same faults

All the staff we had contact with were very friendly, efficient and customer focussed. The resort complex is massive set in beatifully maintained gardens, located right on the beach, looking across the sea to Albania with spectacular views. The resort has many facilities, its own shops and a very hardworking animation team offering lots of daily and evening activities for children and adults. It even has an on site car hire agency. Pools and a beachside bar are found close to the beach area with seating and paid for sunloungers. Meals and snacks were provided in the main restaurant and beach restaurant and were varied and always tasty and plentiful. The Riverside block we stayed in was spacious with seating areas on the GF, located adjacent to a swimming pool, overlooking the river with its many boats with the mountains in the background. The room was in very good order with lots of storage, comfy beds, TV, a free safe, good aircon and furnished balcony. The bathroom was tiled with the best shower we have used in a hotel ! Moraitika and Messonghi villages are easily accessible on foot with lovely bars, shops and supermarkets. Several travel centres nearby offer various trips and activites.
Many of the following gripes are caused by selfish fellow hotel guests but which could in certain instances have been managed by the hotel. Whilst the location overlooking the river was quiet and you couldn't hear noise from the bar during the evening, there is no insulation between rooms and floors and you could literally hear everything from the adjacent rooms and especially the corridor. Whilst this is not an issue during the day and evening, during the night (every night) between 1:30am and 4:15am we were regularly awoken by selfish neighbours coming in drunk, arguing, screaming abuse at each other or playing music. Earplugs didn't work. As the resort is massive, (it is actually two resorts - the main one being MBH - International and the adjacent Marmara owned by the French arm of TUI), the bar area was full in the early evening, meaning that on two occasions we could not sit down and had to sit in the TV lounge and so missed the entertainment provided. On a couple of occasions we saw people "reserving" / saving tables by leaving cardigans and part consumed drinks when they went upstairs for food before returning. This was the same with the sunloungers in the morning where guests were putting towels out at breakfast time and staff didn't intervene. We went at the end of September when presumably it is a lot queiter with couples rather than large families. Whilst still really busy in the low season it must be crazily busy in high season. The restaurants have open balconies where it was a bit cooler to eat your meals, this is not meant to be racist but many of the French tourists in particular smoked before and after their meals in these areas of the dining room with no regard for people on adjacent tables eating their meals. Moraitika itself appears to have suffered in terms of commerce as a result of the pandemic and financial problems as many of the shops, bars and businesses looked abandoned.

Very pleasant stay. I fairly recommend Messonghi Beach Holiday Resort for everyone searching uncomplicated Holidays.
+ very friendly Staff, very Clean generally
+ food was good and versatile, non alcholic Drinks, beer, Cocktails and wines, icecream all day inculuded
+ Snack Bar
+ Location next to the Sea
+ Animation was great
- charging WiFi per day and per device
- the rooms where very Clean... but sadly the balcony was not that clean and the sunbeds in Bungalows are very dirty
- even it's Not to the Hotel but some guests reserve sunbeds in the Pool area with a towel early in the morning and mostly didnt use them. It would be nice to let other guests use the sunbeds as
Well if No one ist using them for a couple of hours.

The hotel had a good selection of food at the buffets, and a good amount of bars. Soft drinks, beer, wine and ice cream were self serve.
The hotel doesn’t have enough facilities for the amount of people staying at the hotel; there are 5 pools but we were only allowed to use 3. We asked if we could upgrade to use the additional pools but we’re told no as they limited number for health and safety. This often meant we couldn’t get a space next to the pool. The food was very average, and was the same every day.
