A charming old school hotel, very French.

Well located in the town centre. The room was clean and spacious. We slept well, there was no outside noise. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. We could keep our bikes within the walled garden.

The proprietor was a super lady who looked after us well. Rooms were delightful as was the hotel overall. Plenty of hot water. Soft towels. Comfortable beds. The small bar was akin to being invited for drinks at a friends. The breakfast room was something from the renaissance. Breakfast was excellent. Location good.

Excellent Hotel and Hosts

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The Hosts are most accomodating. We were on a cycling tour and they accomodated our bikes in a safe place. The host helped us find a lovely restaurant which on an Monday night can be difficut in France.

Excellent location for exploring the town. Busy location but actually very quiet. Exceedingly helpful host who organised a rendezvous with her vet for our dog, couldn’t have been more helpful. Amazing old hotel with so much character. The room was enormous and I’ve never slept in such a huge, comfortable bed!! Excellent shower in a large bathroom. Safe, dry storage for bikes and pet friendly.

This is a beautiful old Belle Epoch Napoleonic building right in the centre of town. The owner is a charming lady who speaks good English and is very welcoming.

Prima verblijf, zelfs voor meerdere dagen.

Centrale ligging tussen Middeleeuws en Napoleon gedeelte. Ruime parking (ene helft gratis, andere helft betaald en let op voor marktdag). Zeer vriendelijk onthaal bij check-in, ontbijt, check-out. Tips bij vertrek voor andere bezienswaardigheden, locaties. Nette, ruime, kamer met badkamer. Electrische rolluiken zorgen voor goede verduistering. Geen geluidslast gehad. Ouder gebouw met houten vloer, kraakt wat maar 't heeft authenticiteit. Ontbijt was compleet, voldoende keuze. Niets op aan te merken! Kasteel niet toegankelijk voor publiek... behalve begeleid bezoek met gids in beperkte groep. Inschrijven bij het VVV kantoor, met kleine parking, op 5min. van hotel. Aanrader want gids is super gepassioneerd. Middeleeuws gedeelte met typische huizen leuk om door te lopen. Napoleonistisch gedeelte eerder tegenvaller. Typische architectuur wel terug te zien.

Un bel hôtel de caractère dans un ancien hôtel particulier avec des chambres meublées de façon à rappeler l'histoire de ce lieu. Nous étions à 5minutes du centre. Dommage que certains endroits à Pontivy semblent insécures...je n'en dirais pas plus, il faut juste faire attention et ne pas s'aventurer tout seul dans certaines rues.
